Thank God objective thinking Politicians are finally having serious discussions about removing that White Supremacy Battle Flag from State Government buildings. I hope they put it in a Museum where it belongs, becasue its still a very important part of U.S. History. And ofcourse the Bigots in these forums can continue to fly the Battle Flag in their Front Yards.

Yeah, a flag caused that nut to kill 9 people... If that flag didn't exist those people would still be alive. Yeah right.

Only a lib would believe such a thing. I guess next up is the American flag (a symbol of oppression to the Indians-correct?) 

For the record I never had a Confederate flag and anything that takes away from me having to hear non-sense regarding perceived racist ideology, I'm all for it, take the flag down, anything to have you people STFU...

More blacks are murdered each year in the city of Chicago than in the whole I state of South Carolina.  What flag do they fly in Chicago?

The Confederate flag is not a Republican flag ..lol 

Don't they teach history in public schools anymore ?

President Lincoln was a Republican and his flag was the Stars and Stripes..the other side had the Stars and Bars..

The Confedrate flag flies over SC because of the Demoocrat Party...the Democratic Party's flag is the Confederate flag. Senator Ernest "Fritz" Hollings ( D-SC)--- is responsible for the Confederate flag flying over South Carolina...and it has flown over the Capital Dome since the Dems put it up there in 1962..

The dumbing down of America........no wonder Obama got elected twice ...ROLF

The parties switched platforms since Lincoln was a Republican. 

As far as the confederate flag goes, it's no coincidence the confederate flag started flying when powerful southerners were resisting racial desegregation.

Let's fast forward a hundred years and say if you think the Democratic Party is the same party of John F. Kennedy "Don't ask what your country and do for you but what you can do for your country?" 

Could you imagine if a democrat said that today? You could hear a pin drop until somebody said "What about our free sh*t"?

Lefties can rewrite history and the present like no others...

No_Contest , I see you are from Mississippi ..and that the Confederacy still fly's in your own state flaf..........Mississippi is the only State flag that has the Confederate battle saltire in its flag...

The Democrat's 2016 Presidential candidate's husband Bill Clinton as governor of Arkansas approved a state flag design that carried a reference to the Confederacy.

In 1987 Clinton signed Act 116 reaffirming a state flag design that included a star symbolizing the state’s membership in the Confederacy.

As the First Lady of the State of Arkansas she celebrated Confederate Flag Day each year……at the Arkansas capital.

So,it looks like the Democrat party hasn't changed platforms  over the years ..

How many of these liberals jumping on such a trendy issue really know anything about the Confederate flag?

How many stars are on it? How many states seceded?

That's for starters.

Walmart, Amazon, and Ebay have halted all sales of the racist confederate battle flag. Sooner or later the only place you Bigots will be able to buy a confederate battle flag will be at the 2016 tea party rallies. Lol

The governor of Virginia is having all "sons of confederate soldiers" license plates being returned. 

Wonder how many people will have them "stolen or lost" between now and the couple of months there giving everyone to turn them in.

This is what you zombie democrats and liberals don't understand.  I'm pretty confident the posters you refer to don't own any Confederate flags.  I have never flown one or worn anything with one on it.
