Asked whether he now regretted his years of smoking and drinking, usually thought to be the cause of the disease, Douglas replied: "No. Because without wanting to get too specific, this particular cancer is caused by HPV [human papillomavirus], which actually comes about from cunnilingus."

Douglas, the husband of Catherine Zeta Jones, continued: "I did worry if the stress caused by my son's incarceration didn't help trigger it. But yeah, it's a sexually transmitted disease that causes cancer. And if you have it, cunnilingus is also the best cure for it."

Of course rich people will die from cancer, that's not the point..Unfortunately, sometimes it is still too late, hence Swayze and Jobs..Douglas had/has late stage cancer and looks pretty good now..But yes the cure for cancer does already exist..

I can only speak from personal experience, but there are doctors outside the United States that do have the cure for cancer. I don't know if it's for only specific types of cancer or all types but there are treatments out there.Unfortunately, by the time the cancer stopped a lot of damage was already done..
Well known was probably the wrong term to use..There are drugs that are effective cancer treatments that have not been approved in the US, which is why you have a lot of people travel outside the country..

This topic really hits home as I too have lost a Grandmother to this and I am among the few that feel there are cures for it, but our wonderful FDA has been bought out by "BIG PHARM" and control what comes in here and won't bite the hand that feeds them.

Maybe I am right, maybe I am wrong. I just wish this was something people did not have to suffer with.

doctors kept my dad alive for 25 years fighting prostate cancer. he died jan 1 this year at 75. he had many treatments and operations and drugs.

Kapono, most of the doctors and nurses that I know are pretty split as far as cures for cancer and that type of thing..Some swear there is nothing out there while others believe there are select people with different treatments.From what I gathered, most medical people in this country don't have the answers on this issue, so basically when a US doctor says there is no cure they are telling the truth as far as they know..But the key words being "as far as they know."
