In defense of bodog and I have used them for 5 years or so, they have their shit together better now than ever. That said, this song and dance over the credit cards is total crap. I have said it a million jillion times, if they want verification of your identity then they should do it up front when they take your money!!

If it is not your credit card, don't you think realistically, they would want to know right away?

That said, once they get the info they pay just fine. I just got a new method of payment from them that is very cool ( although many hoops again to get it to work).

This is the same with all books. I would love to see the industry change the protocol to identify you at deposit which makes a lot more sense. I guess if we are to have the convenience of off shore books this is the inconveninece we must bear. That said, stick with it, keep on them and get the money!!! Do not give in to the temptation of making some stupid wager and losing the cash, as this is what they want!

As always Becky this is a shit reply. Seriously, if you are here to answer and help, do not give us some song and dance how other parts of your job are more important. To us, the customers, this is the most important part of your job. I hope Calvin does not see this shitty post that you cannot help his customers because you are too busy?!    That is worst than the normal smoke and mirrors. Just a "sorry for your problems and send me an e-mail as I will look into"  will suffice. The sheep will fall for that fine as we have been for years.

I used Bodog got tapped out betting horses. I've been reading all the trouble everyone is having with withdrawels so I've decided to drop them.

Still can't understand why they need CC info only when you withdraw. I fund my accounts using Visa gift cards so there is no name on the cards. Also, if I give them my address and phone number when I sign up and they give me an account number and password haw can someone steal my identity if they are sending me a check? All this crap is about making it difficult to collect when you beat them. I have a buddy who beat "The Greek" sportsbook out of 20K and he had all kinds of roadblocks put in place to stop him from cashing out. The only reason these books do it is because they can because they know you can't sue them because it's illegal in the US to bet sports. I have heard however that in countries where its legal players also have trouble getting paid in a timely manner.

The reason that all internet gaming companies need security checks prior to payouts is that they must ensure that nobody is inappropriately using the player's cards for the initial deposit…ie identity theft…meaning the security checks are primarily for the player's protection.   Security checks are done at the payout stage for player convenience as during the deposit process most players are in a hurry to get a deposit in and start playing.

BODOG is a p.o.s organization, run by incompetent immigrants. Their policies suck a$$, and so does the product ... so many better sites out there ...  i hate bodog
