My Sportsbook.ag horror story

Just wanted to share my experience with Sportsbook.ag. So in February I caught a hot hand and won about 3200 bucks on about 30$ total (I was betting parlays and teasers. So I decided I would request a payout before I gave it all back to the book. 2500$ check requested on 2/25/13. I have bet and won with Sportsbook.com before and got paid out pretty quickly. The first two times were via bank wire which took days, the 3rd time was via check which took about a week and a half. I stay in Maryland and the powers that be have taken a pretty hardcore stance on online gambling which scared a lot of the books off. I guess this is the reason bank wire is no longer a payout option for me. As most of you know there normal timeframe for check payouts is an absurd 6 to 8 weeks. As of today 4/23 my payout request is still "pending."

I received an email from them today that basically stated "Sorry for the delay. Take this free 10$ until we find a way to resolve the issue." I took this as the ultimate slap in the face and made a phone call. After expressing my frustation, the supervisor gave me some sob story about their 3rd party processor and told me he was unsure of how much longer I would have to wait to get paid. He then said that 10$ was ridiculous and credited my account with 175 in "bonus" money.

I have read a few postings in recent days of people finally getting checks but the checks ultimately bouncing. I hope to avoid that headache. I just want to get paid out and be done with that book.

I no longer bet with Sportsbook (obviously) and I now bet with BetOnline. I have been paid out twice (both took about a week) in the time I have been waiting on this Sportsbook check.

I apologize for the "Cool Story Bro" rant but I figured my story might help somebody either avoid this frustration or know they aren't the only one going through it. Good day and good luck!

You and who knows how many other people have your exact same story.. They are having money issues and processor issues..

The money issues stem from people leaving that god awful site because they take 8-10 weeks to get paid from these clowns. Then when you do finally get your check, its probable it will bounce..

And Maryland being strict on online gaming has nothing to do with why they mad your bank wire withdrawal option unavailable. It happened to me as well and im in California.. And bankwire takes just as long as a check..

2 years ago Sportsbook.ag was a solid book. I withdrew 5k via bankwire and it was in my bank account in 3 days, checks took 3-4 days.. Now??? Sheeeedeeeiiiittt...

Last but last but not lesst, i think all these issues we are having is the quiet before the storm if you will.. My personal opinion is that sportsbook.ag has one foot in the grave and the other in a banana peel

And everyone who has requested in the last month or 2 are gonna get fcked and left with our faces down and fools up

I&#x27;m flagged on WU AND MG. Going to use my girlfriend&#x27;s name and let her pick it up with me by her side, in case they ask questions. Will my book, which begins with the letter "H", allow me to have it sent in another name? Also, has anyone else done this? Serious answers only. Don&#x27;t need the smartass, tough-gut garbage. Thanks.

They are terrible. I requested a check back in early April. It only arrived last week. Now I just hope it doesn&#x27;t bounce. They have good bonus offers but that doesn&#x27;t come close to making up for the BS they put you through when you want to get paid. As of last October, they were paying within 2-3 days. Wouldn&#x27;t surprise me if they are going under....I imagine at some point, maybe soon, they are going to shut down and owe a lot of people money.

It&#x27;s very difficult and more than a little sketchy trying to deposit the non-U.S. bank issued checks that sportsbook.ag uses for withdrawals.  I took mine all around town and no one would cash it.  Sportsbook.ag just today told me that I have to go inside of my bank to deposit it with a cashier and to use specific language in responding to any inquiries about the source of the funds.  This made me more than a little nervous so I&#x27;ve ripped my $1,000 check up.  If it&#x27;s this sketchy and this much of a hassle to get paid, why even bother with sportsbook.ag?  I never will again.
