I've had some MAJOR F-UP'S with online Blackjack... I can't tell you how many times I have given the books back everything I've won from them...The problem seems you play small, and can win small. As soon as you start chasing with larger bets the dealer pulls 21's ALL DAY!!!
The best advice I can give is to cut your losses (if any) and don't look back. I think I've finally learned my (very painful) lesson.
Save it for a real live table...Cheers.

100% BJ online are rigged! If you had played with $1 up $5 chips; chance you will get even with dealers. As soon as You changed your amount to $50.00 or $100.00 or $500.00 chips then Dealer seemed to beat the F**K out of you even your hand got 20!.. It happened to me several times!

I know what Lippsman is talking about. I have been an advantaged BJ player since the '80's, starting with Thorpe's 10-count, then graduating to HI-Lo and now for the last 3 years have been using the Knockout unbalanced system. I rarely make a counting mistake, yet I have lost 11 hands ina row at a land-based casino when the remaining cards were in my favor almost the whole time (6-deck shoe). I have also won 10 hands in a row and I was just playing basic strategy. So the extremes can and will happen whether you are in Las Vegas or online. BUT it has also been my experience that this seems to happen much more often at online sites. Hmmm. And I also feel (as someone already mentioned) that you can get away with more wins when you bet small, which is a habit I am trying to develop. So, if you can't stay away, bet small or be prepared to get raped!

Rigged Rigged Rigged . . . after taking about $500 from a nice betting day on bodog i decided to take 100 into there casino . . i couldnt win a hand even if i had a blackjack . . this is bodog . . they are the worst . . i mean . . i never played anywhere else but just for the fact that the house JACKS up there advantage . . i wont play anywhere else!!! I quit online acsino . . but i live in Jersey 30 mins from AC so if i have an ich ill shoot down the AC expressway OR jump over in PA with there new casinos. FUCK ONLINE CASINO!!!!!!

With the KNOCKOUT system, isnt the count almost ALWAYS off considering the dealer cuts out 1.5-2 deck of the shoe (considering i play in AC)

Good question, Lcepa. The Knock-out system was built around the assumption of 75% penetration. It definitely suffers in accuracy when there is poor penetration. But interestingly enough, it fares no worse than the Hi-Lo system which uses a "true" count and could be considered a yardstick for other "balanced" systems. This fact has been documented using a RNG with millions of trials. But I would say that just about any counting system is greatly compromised by VERY poor penetration, say 60% or less. This may be the most relied upon counter-measure used against advantage play by the casinos today. If half the cards are taken out of play, never to be seen by the player, then the accuracy of the count becomes unreliable and you may be better off playing basic strategy. Hope this helps.

I can't speak for blackjack but I once had 4 of a kind on online poker and went all in......One of the other players laid down a Royal Flush......Total crap!!!......The odds of that are in the millions.....I've played a substantial amount of blackjack in Vegas (and I do mean substantial) and the difference between online and 'in person' is very suspicious.......I'd rather play in person.

It is rigged....but not the way everyone thinks it is......It is designed to pay out a certain percentage of profits. So in other words the software you are playing will give you a winning hand when it has accumualated money. Then it will go and take money from someone else to make up for what it pays out.....and so on and so on......Your better off sticking to sports!!

I feel all your pain. I was playing Blackjack with Pinaccle about 2 years ago and had a crazy winning streak that lasted about 2 weeks and I was up over $40,000. Than it was like someone turned on a switch and I couldn't win a hand. In the next week I dropped $35,000 and couldn't win. If I had 20 the dealer would get 20 or 21 one. My Blacksjacks to the dealer were 6-1 in the dealers favour and I was losing about 75% of the hands and I'm talking 1000 of hands as I was playing all day long and couldn't stop.
I finally complained and asked to be banned from the casino and threatened to take action over how obviously something wasn't right. Well they didn't ban me from the casino so I continued to play and dropped another $10,000 and again I contact them and asked why they wouldn't ban a customer that obviously had a problem and again how riducles unfair there blackjack game was. The basically told me to drop dead and didn"t take any responsibity and not only dropped me from the casino they also banned me from the sportsbook to.
Is there anything we can do to fight these cheats or is the only action to stay away from online casinos?

I know this is about ONLINE blackjack, but the people who propose you play at the casino instead are not too bright. Stay away from ALL casino games, especially ONLINE, where it is not regulated. But do NOT play live blackjack either, as the greedy fucks in Vegas hit soft 17s and in some other ones, they give 6/5 on blackjacks instead of 3/2.
With the down economy, the LIVE casinos should pay 1.75 to 1 on blackjacks and give you a free meal for your efforts. Instead they always rape the customer. It would not surprise me in the near future if the casinos started taking TIES in blackjack like they do at church picnics.
The old rules made the casinos plenty of money, and I was okay with that. But as long there are enough impulsive people jonesing to shit away a couple hundred dollars or more on blackjack, the game will only get more crooked, as the online and live casinos immorally increase their revenues.
