5Dimes closing shop to all USA customers!

Apparently they are attempting to go legit in the USA. First step is to wipe out their entire client base. All 5Dimes clients are advised to withdraw all funds by 9/25/2020. Last bets taken 9/21. 

This is terribly disappointing news. 

I guess everyone will be looking for a new OS book. 

I've been with them since 1996.  

Just withdrew all my money. I have to find another book to replace it. Thinking about Bovada or BetOnline. Still reading reviews.

How did you withdraw? My balance is way below $1000 with 5dimes. Just wondering how to withdraw with balance of only few hundreds bucks, and i don't use Bitcoin.   

At this time of age, I only use Bitcoin. It is the fastest way and the least amount of problems (compared to all past years we have to endured for deposit/payout).

It doesn't matter the amount you have now. But if you don't want to use Bitcoin, then a cashier's check is your option. Be prepared to wait at most 21 full days after it gets processed.

They used to offer book to book transfers with Heritage. Don't know if that option is still available. Also the year I joined them should read 1999. The sportsbook back then had all these revolving shiny dimes on the website .

They will do a no fee Transfer with Betanysports.eu, which appears to be a 5Dimes clone.  

Yes, that betanysports.eu does look exactly like 5dimes, but can anyone verify they are legit?  I like Intertops, but they don’t offer the amount of sports 5Dimes does and they don’t offer live wagering anymore which makes no sense.  I also love the open parlay feature of 5dimes. So sad to hear they are closing to US clients. 

From reading here and other forums...transfer your 5dimes balance to betanysports....and then go from there with cashouts and anything else. cashouts on 5 dimes are going to be a nightmare.

Can anyone with MORE than ONE post confirm that they have done business with betanysports.eu?

As far as I can see. BetanySports is another VietBet.eu and they all fall under the Five Dimes umbrella. If anyone is interested I use Five Dimes, Heritage, BetonLine and Bookmaker. I can't find anyone that uses BetanySports myself 

So now starts the offshore bullshit. They are informing me to state they found some discrepancies and cannot process my withdrawal until I send an updated drivers license , a utility bill with current address and an updated pin number. All to be sent to the email address they have on file. 

It doesn't make sense that Five Dimes is pulling out of the US market but their sister sites, like VietBet and BetanySports will still be accepting US customers.

Got taken with that BETED bullshit from a few years ago.

As for "thinking about Bovada...." I've been with them since Bodog days. They pay out, I can attest to that, but I only use them for horse racing and occasional poker.  I switched to 5Dimes years ago for sports betting - low juice, early lines, A LOT more betting options, fair futures odds...  Bovada is the exact opposite of all those things. Big juice, late lines, minimal betting options, worst future odds in the world.

Example: Current odds Jacksonville Jags win 2020 SuperBowl: 5Dimes 250-1...... Bovada.... 200-1.  Washington Redskins: 5Dimes 225:1.... Bovada 150-1.  

I rest my case. I hate Bovada for sports betting.  So, which site are ya'll considering to replace 5Dimes?  I'm currently looking into Heritage and BetonLine based on decent reviews, but hard to know without actually using the site.?.  Early lines and betting options are a priority for me.

Heritage took a big step back in recent years, I would suggest BetOnLine as the book to take a good look at

Update. After four full days, my entire 5Dimes balance has been deposited into my BTC wallet. It took this long due to all US players doing the same. So, transaction went smooth. Will deposit into new book.

The fucks are cancelling all of my political bets which I've been making since March.  I had Biden at +125 to -105.  $7k to win $8k....  Now the best line is Biden -130.  I swore by 5dimes too.  So discouraging....  If Biden wins, it's going to cost me thousands....  

How are you going to get your payout? 5dimes has requested its customers to cash out their balance. 

Another day, another day my futures have not been graded.

1)  MLB futures, got tons of them parlayed, mostly divisions.  

2)  Biden/Trump bets & hedges.  Why does this take a week to grade no contest

Contacting them twice day.  

First, it was, they will be graded tomorrow.  

Second, it was, will take two days.

Third, it was need three days

Fourth, we need 7-days because of backlog.

Running outta time.  

I am disappointed in the 5dimes transition options. 

1. They have discontinued book to book transfers. 

2. Withdrawing under 1k involves jumping through hoops via Money Gram and incurring MG fees. 

3. Checks will only be sent out with balances at $1,000 or above. 

Since I am down to just $400, I guess I will be running my account to 1k or zero. One or the other will happen this week. 

Moneygram is pointless.  5dimes only sends out a few per day, the Queue of dudes heading for the lifeboats along with regular customers is a joke.  Fees are joke too, think it went upto $40.  I quit that awhile ago. 

Might as well gamble your last $400, try to get to $1000+.  At least you'll have some satisfaction if you lose naturally, instead of never having a chance to get your dough.

I also was with BetJamaica and got transferred over too. At that time Heritage was by invitation only.  Heritage was small and their customer service was great. The old format, in my opinion was so much better.

A few years ago the racebook wagering was closed to me one day and I never got an explanation. Live chat at the time just said it was a management decision. I sent a couple emails to ask for a reasoning and they never responded. 

Bigger is never better with these offshore books.
