i'm all about tivo for this pig . . . i doubt i'll see qualifying, thus likely no play for me. however, it stands to reason that someone other than button or vettel could win, so i might take a stab . . . can't imagine backing webber to win, he'll win his first F1 race at my expense (keep in mind i said the same thing before wagering against barbaro in the derby and that filly in the belmont, so that might mean the masses should load up on the aussie at 15-1)
i still think mclaren is under the radar a bit, and maybe even alonso, i may have to snoop around the F1 site and read all the post qualifying notes tomorrow morning.

just watched Bahrain . . . haven't been paying close attention since that race happened. any new developments leading up to spain ? looked like kimi made a step forward in the desert, and the mclaren's are still looking up at braun and vettel . . .

If i recall correctly, Alonso qualified really well last season in Spain, so he could be in the front row in his home race, but he was so light on fuel, he wouoldn't have been a factor in the race if he had managed to actually stay in the race.
agreed though on these guys, their cars may still be behind the brauns and vettel, but the better drivers will start to close the gap even if the cars lag behind. i'm hoping alonso qualifies for race strategy, and not for added exposure for his car and sponsor.
