I am about to get a VForce weight vest from weightvest dot com. Dont plenty of research. I train intensely lifting 6 days a week and doing something else, be it just running or ab work or whatever, but I cant shed these last lbs. I eat a ton but am not fat. May make minor diet changes but I thinking running and doing other body weight excercises with an extra forty five lbs will shred me up. Any experience or input?

I know a couple of people who swear by them. Increases strength and stamina a great deal from what I hear.
How much did you pay and what weight did you get?

I went with weightvest dot com. They are more expensive but I did a fair amount of research and their product is better. I also like how they have a million different vests to choose from depending on your workout or how you want the weight distributed to the width of the shoulders.
Anyway, I went with the 45 lb vest. At first I didn't think it would be enough but then I thought about trying to run with a 45 lb plate strapped to my back and it will be plenty. I will probably start the first week or two of workouts with only 20 lbs of the weight in the vest. Will start running with it as well.
I got the idea from someone I know who said it did wonders for them as far as their training and their conditioning. Can't hurt to try.

I have a great breakdown search. Dont you worry about my lifting results. Everyone's a personal trainer these days and quick to say what the other guy does wont work.

Didn't mean to sound like a person..sorry. I guess everybody has a different training threshhold. I go dead flat on a 6 per week program but that's me. Mental and physical burnout.
What kind of routine do you have?

Search - everyone who enjoys working out/training forms their opinions over time and I always see people stating theirs like they have if all figured out, that's all.
I lift each muscle group 3 times in a 2 week period. So I may lift a certain group on Monday, then Friday, then the following Wednesday. I just mean I don't like taking days off. I don't overtrain, but I don't like sitting around. I will find something to do.
I'll start with the weightvest this week and provide some reviews. Will start running with 20 lbs.
