So I'm watching "Throwdown With Bobby Flay".....

and they are doing "Falafel",  that middle eastern deep fried ball made out of chick peas.   And they got this woman on there who grew up in Tel Aviv and she's won several cooking awards for her "Falafel"  including New York Times etc.
 
 
So they both make the "Falafel" and guess who Bobby Flay brings out to judge the "Falafel" ?
 
He brings out former NY Knick guard John Starks and some big fat chick who plays in the WNBA.     
 
What the fuck do those two assclowns know about making "Falafel"?   
 
And of course the woman who is famous for making this dish loses to Bobby Flay.  
 
 
I actually sent off an email to the Food Channel about how ridiculous that was.   
 
That is all.        I've never had "Falafel".   I should try it.  Looks pretty good.

Flay loses most of those Challenges.  He's a good sport but he does come dangerously close to winning a lot of them but they always vote for the local place.

that show is such a joke. bobby flay loses all the time to douches who buy their ground beef at the grocery store. like this would happen. it's entertaining when nothing else is on, but for food porn/inspiration go with no reservations with anthony bourdain. it fucking rules.

it's on the travel channel, btw, not the food network
