Does anybody else get INTENSE itching around the love handle area when they run. Sometimes in the legs too. I'm about 10-15 lbs over weight. 6 ft 1 inch 204 lbs. This isn't normal itching, it gets so bad I want to tear my flesh off. I tell myself it's fat burning but I dont think so. If anybody else gets this or knows what the hell it is let me know.

You sure it's not just an irritation caused by the fabric of your clothes rubbing up against your skin? Ran with boxers underneath my shorts one day and my legs were red, red, red from all the chafing.

I posed this question a couple years ago on here....I finally think I found an answer...
Ill try and find the website about it...
Basically it seems like those areas on some people dont have the proper circulation all the time. So when you run and the blood rushes to those areas, it causes you to itch. the more you practice ie: run, the less it will occur. This happened to me when I was training for a 5k. After X amount of times going, I wasnt itching much at all.
Hope this helps...I was looking for many years for an answer to this...
