Dr Oz. He performed an infrared heat signature on somebody in the audience. Thighs an chest lit up like a christmas tree compared to the melon..
70% has been tossed around for years, Mr Oz cleared it up as myth.
Search -- the Dr. Oz experiment is bogus and only counts for the environmental / metabolic conditions that individual was under. A person who has been sitting in a temperature controlled room does not release much heat from the head. In fact much of their blood (which is what is detected as heat in these types of scans) is in their central regions (chest and thigh regions) and so it makes perfect sense that those regions would light up. You do not lose heat from your chest, and since that person is not in need of losing heat there is no reason to divert blood from the chest to other areas where heat is lost from (skin and head).
It changes substantially when a person is either exercising and/or is in a hot environment where getting rid of heat is necessary. In these conditions much of the blood flow is diverted from the central regions to the peripheral regions (i.e. skin and head). Also during these times the head becomes a major site of heat loss. During this time the head and peripheral regions would be lit up like an xmas tree

Nothing is or isn't a 'weight loss' food.. Total calories in + activity levels are what determine weight loss or weight gain..
Plenty of guys I know who've been getting shredded for the current season of bodybuilding shows who've had banana with their oats, berries and egg whites ect each day for breakfast.. Or post workout
