I am looking for a really good restaurant with mariachis in San Diego next Friday or Saturday, April 1st or 2nd.. We have big family celebration coming up.

Just walk around and ask the locals near the sand.

You'll be fine.

Personally I'd go a little further into the authenticity of Tijuana. You'll have Marryuchi coming out yer arse.
