So I don't have any health insurance/dental coverage and one of my cavity fillings is broke. The side of the cavity broke off. Is there something I can buy to fill in that area and seal it.

I do alot of my own cleaning from a couple dental pick tools that I purchased from a large flea market in Kissimmee, FL. (referring to actual tartar build up) Your situation sounds advanced. Do you have any special skills to build up some extra income? For instance, I fix baseball gloves (tightglove.com) as a hobby, to help defer costs like this. If you're near a major metropolitan area, there are surely dental schools that you could check into. You know, be their "lab rat" so the teacher can teach the rookies about your particular procedure. This is usually free of charge, or pennies on the dollar. Hope this helps.
