Are you kidding me? ABSOFRICKINGLUTLY! A good fielder only has a couple errors a year. So Miggy might have driving in a few more runs but also cost his team a few more runs. The way I look at it who hits better... JUSTIN... who has more power... MIGGY... who drives more in... MIGGY... who has a better glove... JUSTIN. So all things being equal best record should control. It does in pretty much every sport. Whoever has best record of all-star break coachs the NBA teams plus if your team is doing well you get more all-stars in EVERY SPORT basically. Miggy deserves to be 2nd but not the starter because offensive stats is NOT EVERTHING!

You are REALLY not comparing apples to apples here. What would Evan's closest competition for the 3B spot? If he stats are near the same and he has the same impact on his team as Longoria then YES I AGREE Longoria should not start in place of that other person. But obviously you cannot find that. My guess is Beltre is his closest competition and you might have a legit argument that at this point in time Beltre should start of Longoria.

Okay so that is 4 people of a total of 16 positional players. So even by your own admission it is rare for all-star starters to have that many errors. Plus I find it odd that you don't think that a strong glove should be even a consideration.

Listen this is all im saying and its just my opinion. You have to be an absolute fool if you wanted Morneau on your team in an All Star game over Miguel Cabrera. Cabrera you can say and make a LEGIT argument is THE BEST hitter in baseball. Morneau does not even come CLOSE. They will be in for what 3 innings maybe? Your worried about an error? No way, no chance are these 2 players even on the same level

My point is WHO CARES. No one gives a flyin F about errors when it comes to all star voting. You fill your team with players who make no errors and ill fill my team with MASHERS who hit 40 home runs and knock in 120 runs every year while batting 320.

Kyle if you put it that way I would agree with you because I have consistently said that Justin Moreanu is the most uncluch player in MIN Twins history. That being said I just think if you look at his body of work this year he deserves it over Miggy. But yes Miggy DESERVES to be on the All-Star team. I always get my dander up when people say Twins don't deserve to be All-Stars.

Well I NEVER said the big fella shouldent be an all star because he does oever every other 1B in the AL. All im saying is Cabrera has more home runs, rbis, runs and stolen bases. Morneau has a better average and a better glove. Miggy wins with a score of 4-2

Well we agree they both deserve to be on the squad but are just going to have to disagree on who should start. I see you point and I see that now you see mine about the fielding even though you don't completely agree but in the end we have two stubbon people who could proabably argue about this all night. LOL!
I just got into an argument with a college buddy of my yesterday about Justin vs. Youk. He was trying to tell me Youk should start over Justin in the all-star game mostly because Justin is Canadian or at least that was basically the best reason he could give me. I have to say at least you had better reasons. This guy is a really bad homer though.

No real reason. Certainly not avoiding you guys as I always do enjoy talking with you. I guess I just always in the sports forums. But perhaps I should stop by more. I will make a concerted effort to do so.
As it relates to the trade offer. Princy always has a GREAT 2nd half so that is why I am a little hesitant. What could you package with Justin for Prince?
