Here's my Fantasy Team for 2011

Just finished drafting.  It's a 12-team Keeper League.  I took over a team and got to choose 5 keepers, I marked them.

C - Matt Wieters
1B - Joey Vottow (Keeper)
2B - Brandon Phillips
SS - Tsuyoshi Nishioka
3B - Placido Polanco
OF - Josh Hamilton (Keeper)
OF - Chris Young (Keeper)
OF - Jacoby Ellsbury
UTIL - 1B Prince Fielder (Keeper)
UTIL - OF Juan Pierre
Bench - OF Rajai Davis
Bench - 3B/SS Jhonny Peralta

SP - John Danks (Keeper)
SP - David Price
SP - Matt Cain
RP - Andrew Bailey
P - Ricky Romero
P - Kevin Gregg
Bench - Gavin Floyd
Bench - Scott Baker
Bench - Brad Lidge
DL - Stephen Strasburg

I took Strasburg last round, dropped him on to the DL immediately and have a claim on Russell Martin to be my backup catcher.  Lidge will also be headed for the DL soon but Yahoo doesnt have him as being on it yet.

What do you all think?

nice pick on S. stras. should be a keeper for 10 years. elbow surgery is the wave of the future.

I'm high on Nishioka. Hoping for the best.

Sadly...Bailey is joining Lidge on the DL to open the season, so grab Fuentes if you can.

You're certainly good on power and speed. Very impressed that you got Hamilton, Fielder AND Votto. Did you keep them from previous years or did you draft ALL of these guys this year?

Can't complain about Cain, Price, Danks and Romero either.

very solid team

agree, very solid team. is I'd be nervous with polanco as my starting 3B only because I was reading his elbow injury may be a concern this year... so i'd be keeping my eye on FA or a potential trade if he struggles

Head to Head

Hamilton, Fielder & Votto were all on last year's team

I'm waiting for yahoo to list bailey as being on the DL so I can go pick up Fuentes

h2h yahoo?

I got Price last year in an auction for $3.  He led the league in run support.  I also am not a fan of pitchers coming off seasons where they increased their innings pitched by such a significant number.  But that's just me.  Overall, I like your team, though.
