Help for Football draft

Need a little help on the order that I pick my positions in.  I'm in a 12 man league. Non PPR.

since it's non ppr you would want to go rb/rb, but and a big but drafts never go as planned. My thought is to simply draft the best player available.

Do QBs get 6pts for passing tds? How does your scoring work for defence? If the draft is going well and your d scores based on points again, you may want to snag Sea in the 7th round or SF in the 8th.

1st 6 rounds - 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1 best WR/RB/TE
7th - Sea D or best WR/RB/TE
8th+ - best players

Yes, QB's get 6 pts for a passing or rushing td. Defense get 2 pts per turnover, 6 pts for a defensive td and 1 pt per sack and then the average point system for how many points they allow.

What spot do you draft at?

No idea yet.  It's Yahoo and we won't know until just before the draft on the 3rd.

Always go for best available player strategy. Try and acquire atleast 2 RBs with your first 3 picks. If you can snap a Chris Johnson or MJD with your third pick or even your second and pair that with a Demaryious Thomas, it would be an ideal situation.

There is a large cluster at TE. So if you're asking if I would take a San Fran/Seattle D ahead of Antonio Gates, the answer is Yes.

Even that 4th pick could be RB. Imagine a team with Ray Rice, Steven Jackson, Drew Brees and DeMarco Murray. Most of my title teams had 4 or more solid RBs. Even if you have to add them during the course of the season, you need to play close attention to all RB situations.

Always go with best available and once you solidify the starting unit, it becomes okay to reach for players. BOL
