Would love to hear from some of you about what you think the impact will be of daily fantasy being shutdown by Nevada Gaming Commission? Will this snowball across all other states?
I just wish they'd shut down the incessant ads, but I'm not sure this is a move I want to see spreading. What do u think? Please comment.

I hope they do get shut down, because it's complete bull$hit that fantasy "betting" is not considered gambling but yet we can't even legally place a sports wager in the vast majority of US states.
Vegas has another thing coming though, as it's only a matter of time before sports betting is legal across the land. It's totally unreasonable to only allow certain things in certain states, completely unconstitutional.

I say if people want to do the Fanduel and Draftkings, let them. As for the people who think they got robbed/snookered by those two sites, you will always have people think the system is rigged against them. I am disappointed and mystified that rival companies would not have rules in place where employees could have accounts on other sites or even on their own site. media companies have rules about contests, and the stock market has its own codes. You have the nanny states of New York and Conn. making the most noise. I am surprised it took them this long.
If a major roadblock develops, then the counter response will be proxies.
There are also people who have wanted to investigate American Idol.
There are probably millions of people on Fanduel and Draftkings. Lets say a hundred people got screwed. Arent there bigger problems out there to deal with ? If those two places get a bad rep, they will be replaced or less people will be involved in the activity.
In this situation, I have the OVER.

How is that unconstitutional? The states hold the right to ban it.

I think some forms of fan dual and draft kings are serious gambling, and should be eliminated, like when you pay to win a million dollars in a tournament and your chances are so small you are better off buying a lottery ticket. It's pure chance to get the perfect line-up with huge numbers of contestants. The number of permutations with the number of players available to draft is just staggering On the other hand, I just won 500 bucks putting down 250 in a double up contest paying the top 30 of 66 on draft kings, and that seems a lot more skill and much more fair since you don't fight against the randomness of 36,567 players. It's more like a neighborhood pool .... so regulate the insanity but allow the double ups with small numbers of contestants.
