Final question and I'm done.

sparky: i see where your having trouble understanding cause im a bit confused myself...  under the rules it says after the season we choose a player to give a Prospect Contract, we then have him for 4 additional years if we want to keep him so here's where i get confused....  do we get a whole seperate other Contract each year for a totaly different player OR do we choose if we wanna keep our Prospect from the end of this year and if we choose not to THEN WE GET another Prospect Contract..(<--i think thats right)

in simple terms... can i give Rizzo my Prospect Contract at the end of this year and then Tag a seperate player another Prospect Contract at the end of next year thus giving me Rizzo and another Rookie next year ?   or if i tag Rizzo at the end of this season i then have him all next year and at seasons end i decide between Rizzo OR another Prospect to give a Contract to.. 

  now im acting like Sparky with all the confusing shit..

the rules state if we choose to add another Prospect next year then the one we add this year has to be dropped..

Once you have awarded a player your Prospect Contract, you can keep him on your roster for up to 4 additional seasons. At the end of each season, you will be able to decide whether you wish to keep your existing prospect or select a new one. If you opt for a new prospect, this player must be rookie-eligible in the year you select him. You then lose all rights to your old prospect and he becomes a free-agent in next year’s draft.

Thats right under the rules but i am up for changing it to where you can get a rookie contract each year but still have to stay under 10 contracts. Alot of the rules were never brought up to question and like i have said before this is also my first time doing this league.

I want to go to a minor league roster and if you activate a player off of it he is your for 4 years as long as he is active on your roster. Lots of things to discuss.

i like the minor league roster idea but we have to discuss the 4year part.. if we activate him to our original roster 4 years is a hefty tag to have the guy..  maybe once activated you have to keep him on the original roster for minimum 60 days or aomething like that before you can put him in FAgency or waivers..

**different topic......  i think u should collect $50 from every person towards next years due's and that way if a situation arrises like ISTEAL's and you happen to take action you could then put that xtra 50 in the pot to the playoff winner...  just a thought...  maybe he got arrested or something..   its not like him to just not be active.. has he posted on covers at all ?   i'l check his last day he posted on covers and see what it was

That's what I'm looking for, personally. 1 a year as long as you stay under 10. Puts pressure on people too if they reach that number and have to choose of a guy to drop. Makes it more fun...imo.

Everything will be smooth next year. I think this is a first for most, if not all of us.

And, with the minor league roster thing, I remember you saying that you had a deadline to bring him up when he's called up. Either drop him or drop a player for him. I like that idea.

Not so sure about the 4-year thing though. I think we should keep that option until the end of the season for someone to decide. Not automatically give him the contract.

Like if you drafted Belt this year and dropped him because he was playing poorly, but then someone picks him up because he's hot and they can give him the contract at the end of the year. It doesn't HAVE to be someone who was on your minor league roster...it's just a roster so you can reserve your guys.

But I'm just blabbering. The only thing I wanted to know was the 1 rookie a year under contract and, if we've got that under control, then I have no more real problems.

so more then likely its gonna be 1 contract per year for the Prospect's so if you have 3 that you like this year you can only give 1 a Contract and the other 2 become Free Agents but then next year you get another Prospect Contract without having to loose this years guy...   sounds good boys..

I do use that site. But I forgot my password. And I don't think the forum on that site was really meant to be used. I just assumed we'd all talk on here.

When I'm making trades...I always look to make sure whose a keeper or whose not. And I always go back on there to check out the rules if I'm confused...even though I ask questions anyway.

And I'm trying so hard to get into UFC...but I forgot last week's show. Probably because I was super upset that Lesnar wasn't in it. I wouldn't miss a Lesnar fight for the world and I hope he comes back.

Dos Santos looked awesome.. i think he's the next Champ in HW division, guys a stud.. he wouldve destoyed Leasnar especially since lesnar had no answers for Cain Velasquez's stand up.. Dos Santos's boxing is sick..   almost as good as mine

Not that it matters because it's one of those trades where I feel that this is the best offer because I really want Harper.

So I'm trading Josh Hamilton for Harper, Bumgarner and a #1

But this is why I don't like telling people and understand why people don't like telling others. It's easy when you're on the outside looking in...but you want to keep it quite in case it become a bidding war.

Even though, in this case, I'm the one who'd probably get the other offers.

But Harper is the guy I want...and there aren't many others that I'd do unless I clearly get a better player than Hamilton and get a straight up trade.
