So...Yea...I have a REALLY young team.
Does no good since you get to keep only 1 player out of Britton, Hellickson, Hosmer, Trumbo.
Next year i think we are going to make a switch to a minor league roster. This will take away from prospects taking up space on a already thin bench. We will have any where from 3-6 spots a year to be drafted. Once the player is called up into the major leagues he has to be either added to your roster right away or become a free agent. Allows you to grab more then 1 guy a year. Something in the process.

Add Hellickson and Espinosa as well.
Hmmm...Oh what ever will I do? ![]()
And I don't like that "minor league roster" idea.

Really? I feel that it takes a lot more strategy, patience and knowledge to do it like we're doing.
"Do I want to win now and fill up my roster...or is this rookie THAT important?"
"Is this rookie going to be the real deal? Will he be picked up when dropped? Is it worth it?"
3-6 spots is WAAAY too much. There aren't even that many rookies in baseball if it's 6.
2 N/A spots...alright...that's reasonable. But certainly no more than that.

i like that idea ManRam but im on the same page as Sparky, maybe 3 spots tops, 6 is alot.. that way there's still a FA list to choose from if you need it.. but like the idea that once called up you have to ADD him or he becomes a FA.
