Why not? What's the point in making this a KEEPER league if KEEPERS shouldn't be put into consideration when making moves?

You clearly backing your brother and not thinking clearly.

And as for closers...they can be traded. Are you telling me that he can't not turn around Marmol and Feliz for a bat? There has to be a buyer out there for a combo like that. Depth means others become disposable.

As I remember...all my trades last year were for the best. How many trades did I make that where the guy I traded started to slump or get injured? Morneau, Boesch, Utley, Ethier, Magglio. All were traded and all were traded at the peak of their value.

Curious to see what happens here. Although that is a downright BRUTAL trade, I dont think a trade should EVER be vetoed without collusion.

If there is an owner that continues to make horrible trades [I am talking in general ] and messes up the balance of the league, then the other owners should look for a replacement. Under no circumstances should a trade be vetoed without collusion. Owners pay their own $ and should manage their own teams.

I hope noone comes in here and tells me im not in this league and to mind my business, because I think that is the best advice you can get as far as this issue goes.

My two cents are who give a F as long as there is no collusion and there is no evidence of this what so ever. If KTB screws his team then it is his bad. Don't forget that KTB won this whole thing last year. Maybe just maybe he knows what he is doing.

I would feel much better if kiss the baby can explain the trade... thats all i ask

he is not keeping either player for next yr and did not acquire a draft pick... Id Philly would have gave him a top 3 round pick he can justify it

i posted a message on our Fantasy Page and im gonna tell ManRam to Decline it... i feel i shouldnt have to plead my case cause KTB offered it to me so he obviously thinks this is good for his team..

and sparky, i shouldnt have to try and talk ManRam into letting this go thru, last time i checked we'r all men here and if KTB wants to OFFER ME A TRADE then its his right to do that. platinum been offering BS trades all year and what if one of the managers accepted his offers ?? i bet Uriss wouldnt say shit about that..

Uriss: i know your not attacking me personally, its all good...........have you seen Lee's #'s this year????? he's not even a top 20 pitcher right now so i think you guys are over reacting a bit...

Listen you know just as well as anyone else the trade is completely lop sided... I could careless if it goes through at this point.. The fact that he even offered that trade made me question it... And no I'm not going to base Lee's career on ONE month of pitching ... STILL with an ERA under 4.. The guy is Top 5 pitchers in the game ... There is no argument

If I was you I would have accepted it as well.. Only an idiot would decline such an outrageous offer...

Everyone thinks There team rules and every trade someone offers them is degrading ... bla bla bla... I do it as welll

Its just the principal. It is not fair for me to put every trade through in the what 6 leagues we have done so far in baseball football and baksetball and just decline this one. Shit Uriss and Cables i put through last year. Just remember when i brought up a possibility of a vote on that trade Joe you were HEATED that i accepted everything else and had the nerve to even bring it up. Tables are just turned in this one. I just feel bad. Obviously he thinks this makes his team better for whatever reason. Maybe he has a plan? Maybe 5 closers is his strategy?

Its also not fair to Philly if i reject this trade and then kissthebaby gets flooded with better offers then this one which he will accept.

No matter what i do someone will be mad at me. Its part of running the league. I just cant go against what i have said in our leagues from the get. Everyone pays their fee. Everyone gets to run their team HOW THEY WANT. As long as there is not a UNREAL lopsided trade like Cliff Lee for Bruce Chen and no colusion i have to let it go through.

Once again i can not stress enough when you are about to trade one of the best players in the league LET PEOPLE KNOW. It will only benifit you.

I always feel that I lose my trades initially. Aside from the basketball league...I feel that every trade I make is a loss, until the guys start doing their job. Then it doesn't look as bad.
