isteal:  log onto ESPN.com and register a username and password then CLICK on  ALERTS and sign up for  Fantasy TEXT alerts and they text you with breaking news and line-up changes way before gametime.. i got 2 texts at like 11am about the kc/det and cubs/sfran Games..

isteal:  there's a whole list of Alerts u can check off to recieve, if you check off Fantasy Updates just be prepared for a lot of Text each day..  they txt u guys who are scratched from lineups, injury's, weather and end of game stats if players do really good.. like 15 a day u'l get

Yea...but the way I see it is that the contract Gregg signed pretty much assured him to be the closer. I mean...why else would he want to play in Baltimore . Uehara is still the better option as the closer.

As for Cleveland/Seattle...rain expected ALL DAY. I doubt they get it started. The game began under a rain delay and, after Tomlin went out there to warm up, the tarp came right back. Not looking good.

Come on Sparky.  I know you have thin skin as a NYY fan and you get more $hit than you deserve sometimes but WHAT?  I honestly cannot think of a single time that someone accused a NYY of taking steriods (other than A-ROID but that accusation started a long time before he was a NYY).  As a matter of fact I might say that it is the custom of the NYY to buy up players coming off career years who perhaps was using steriods at the time of their career years (Chuck Knobloch - okay maybe a stretch but I had to throw that on in there as a Twins fan), Jason Giambi, Gary Sheffield, Roger Clemens, Jonny Damon, just off the top of my head.

Perhaps the NY media would grill them but they are always looking for a story.  I just don't think there is a coorelation between a NYY using steriods and it being any bigger of a story than if that player played anywhere else.  Was Andy Petite a bigger story than Barry Bonds or Mark McGuire?

Not a "bigger" story but those are different situations. And I've heard Cano and Matsui were on steroids from Yankee Haters. Maybe it's just me because every thread I find myself in always turns into a Yankee thread. But if talks about steroids are with the Jays...you know everyone would be saying that he got his stash from A-Rod.

it was a great offer but the reason i rejected it sparky is cause Latos has my 2yr Contract and i want to see how Teheran does in his next start..  i could possibly Tag him with a Contract for next year if he plays up the Hype around him...
