I would never start a rookie in his first game. Smith, Flacco and Tannahill are out because they don't exactly put up the numbers you're looking for on a consistent basis. I think Cutler has a big game this week but the most logical pick is Rivers.

He's at home and playing against a Dallas secondary that is ranked 22nd in the league. I see the game being a shootout and Rivers passing for three touchdowns.

Cutler is your choice.  Pryor may be a close second if he is start, but even if he does get the nod there's no guarantee he will be there for the whole game.  Go with Cutty, that game should be a shootout.

I'd start Cutler too. Historically he's torn the Lions apart when they played. I'm surprised that Detroit has the 6th ranked pass defense this year. No one in their secondary scares me.

It's their defensive line with Suh, Fairley, and Ansah that is stacked. If you start Glennon you will be sorry. Arizona's defense isn't as bad as it seems and Glennon is an inaccurate rookie that spends too much time in the pocket.
