We have reached out to our contest rep for this specific contest and are waiting on a definitive answer.

Their initial thoughts were "Technically speaking he picked a fighter who did not win their match, but I'm going to make sure we're following the contest rules on "refunded" picks, it is possible that since he wasn't "wrong" either that he will be counted as a winner."

Once we hear back from them on the decision we will let you know.

We received this from them yesterday as a response to this:

"While according to the hard and fast rules we could technically rule this not a perfect slate due to the draw, we've decided that we would like to make this a winner, since they got all the rest of their picks correct and won the tie-breaker. 

We put them into the winner's funnel and will fulfill their prize with the next batch of merch."

I am not 100% sure on when their next batch of merch will be going out, but when it does you should receive the prize for this contest.
