Given that we are in a sports betting thread I thought he would find it cool to see that article. They have been making fun of me and Jim sent me a pretty aggressive response to an inquiry for help capping football. Can you please tell them that I am not who they think I am. They think I made an account months ago, looked at thousands of threads on this site, commented a couple hundred times before I ever looked at the soccer thread. Not only have they assumed that I am this guy but they have been treating me like garbage because of this.

The only evidence you guys have is that my name is similar to some guy who has been here before? I told you I am a rookie at soccer (football) capping but not in other sports. If I was the guy you are claiming I am, I would have made another account by now! Just because I have a weird style of typing and have a username of one of the most famous managers you guys have been hating on me, talking garbage about me and repeatedly asked for me to be banned.

I would love to start capping football but I have literally no clue where to get started. I have been a football fan all my life but have not begun capping until recently and I have been capping american sports. Do you have any advice for where to get data and for what to start looking for? I know that's a very short question for the length of the answer but I have no idea where to get started. I would love to help you guys with capping and would easily love to pull my own weight and more, especially at the beginning when i'm learning. I additionally have access to limited market data (% of public betting) etc. for off shore bookies.
Otherwise I'll be likely to follow your picks anyway. Thank you for posting.

There is no evidence of an alias account, so you are free to post in the forums. If positive conversations cannot be carried out, we suggest you refrain from engaging with those users.

We do not have a definite time frame on that. There are no sport-specific moderators, we try to monitor all forums the best we can. Links to forum violations are always appreciated.

Thanks for the swift response Brian,
There needs to be an exact time frame on it. I appreciate the work the moderators do around here, however I do think we need a dedicated mod for Soccer at least until this "thread bumper" has enough.
No offense but it seems the Soccer residents have to alert the mods every time the thread bumping occurs.
