Quick question about MLB alt run line...

Can you parlay the alt run line with the O/U in same game? If not, what is the reason? Doesn't seem to be a correlated parlay issue.

Hello,

There can be restrictions on parlaying alternative lines with totals on the same game at certain books. It would be best to consult with your sportsbook regarding their rules prior to placing your bet.

That's the thing, a new book doesn't allow it but I can't find a rational idea anywhere why it's not generally accepted. I can parlay the favorite run line & the O/U, but not the alt. Makes no sense, seems the book would want that action.

Yes, there are instances where limits will be placed on alternative betting options, this varies from book to book.
