Old forum setup
You can do that. When in a thread click the 'switch back to what you're used to." link at the top.

kind of begs the question WHY fool with it in the FIRST place ??? I have been a Covers member since 2001 and have seen numerous changes over the years some good some bad. most recent changes have just made the site LESS user friendly AND (I think) also SLOWED it DOWN

Hi LeRinkRat,
We appreciate your concern with the new changes. Keep in mind, these changes are not permanent, which is where we need your continued constructive feedback. Here is what changed today:
- Forums are now responsive, which means they can be viewed and used on any device. Before we had two separate applications that served desktop and mobile. With a growing amount of users that use our site from mobile, we need to have the same great experience on these devices.
- We’ve added more efficient ways of decreasing spam on our site with the recaptcha tool. This means less bots, the ability to post more than one post in a minute.
- The reason we’ve included the ability to “switch back to what you’re used to” is because we admit that we’ve done a poor job in the past of making changes without you, the user’s input. PLEASE give us some constructive feedback in the link above “let us know what you think”. Tell us how we can get better, what you like, what you hate. This is an experiment, not the end product.
- Oh, we’ve also removed some censorship, and added some new emojis.
Ultimately, this is a way for you guys to make the site better. We would appreciate if you can help us do that.
