All, I'm from Madison and a big Badger follower. I loved what Barry Alvarez did with the program. It was dead, 30k going to games when he got there w/ no chance of beating OSU, Mich etc. He built it up won 3 Rose Bowls which I never, and I mean never saw coming. My only knock on him was that he could never get a BIG time QB. Why I don't know. Wisc runs a pro style offense and ALWAYS has 1st and 2nd round offensive linemen. It's TE "U" which is huge in the NFL right now. The Badgers landing Russell Wilson Alvarez said "was like winning the lottery." Now, I'm not saying the Badgers will kill MSU but they actually have a guy that can make a big play and keep the chains moving. Past QB's: Sorgi, Bollinger, Tolzien are all in the NFL but are average at best. Because of the past "horror shows" in East Lansing, 7 1/2 points is a lot to give but Bucky's "D" has looked good. Keep in mind they held Northern Illinois to 7 points in Chicago, their "D" stinks but they recruit to score. I think the Badgers win 38 to 17, it's now or never for the program to make a HUGE statement and to finally get a 5 star QB to commit. What are these wanna be pro passers waiting for?

Agreed. Add in the fact Wisconsin has not played a road game and no tough team other than Nebraska and it makes me really like those Spartans. Good call on the Orangemen last night Oahuboy. I was way off, but glad you hit the bet. Luckily I followed you with Louisville and hit that under too. BOL today.

I don't think Wisky is ready for Sparty. MSU held Notre Dame 200 yards under their per game average (and the Irish actually played real teams), did the same with Michigan and totally embarrassed every other offense they played. Wisky has played Nebraska, whose defense is suspect to say the least and was nice enough to throw 3 picks to help the Badger cause. Wiskey's first road game, against a real team, under the lights with an xtremely hostile crowd and I would expect a close, lower scoring affair. Personally, I'll get a really big bag of popcorn and just watch.

Always a strong ground attack, this year's team has too much versatility with Wilson at QB. This Wisconsin team is the first Big 10/11/12 team I have seen in over 20 years that can play with anyone in the country, they may not beat the Bama/LSu winner, but they can compete.
