meant to ask, isnt there some criteria for posting here, i.e. if you lose alot like Col Jim, why are we still seeing posts?  Help me, havent beein on the sight soine 2005, and honestly then there were alot more serious long time cappers.  Who knows what they are doing here?

17-5-1 this football season combined, dont tail people, take advice and mae your own plays.  This is a garbage game, save your plays for saturday.

Gotta Go with West Virginia -3.5 here.  Looking for some respect tonight, think they found a team they can do it to tonight.  O-line for WV to powerful for Col. they will play smash mouth football most of the night.

The danger in this game is if Colorado gets up 14-0 in the first quarter. That's basically what happened in the ECU game and then Pat White is forced into catchup mode and its all downhill (especially if you bet on WV). West Virginia's offensive line is in disarray since last week, and two TRUE freshman have been rotating in for possible playing time tomorrow night:

I feel like last week's game made it possible for me to earn more playing time. We're just one or two blocks away from busting it to the crib, but we aren't firing out hard and getting people on the ground. We have to make a statement." "

COLORADO--For the first time in 20 years the Buffaloes did not replace any coaches--head or otherwise. . . . Last year the Buffaloes play seven true freshmen at the same time on offense. . . . Offensive coordinator Mark Helfrich added a new wrinkle to the offense this spring, introducing the no-huddle offense to use in the so-called thin air of Boulder.

The reason? The altitude.

Helfrich claims: "Altitude is the one thing that our opponents can't prepare for, other than Colorado State, so that's kind of an X-factor when teams come to Folsom Field. We'd like them to have that in the back of their head. Nobody likes to be sucking wind. So I think at home we'll feature it more against certain types of teams. In spring, our guys executed it very well and hey believe in what we're trying to do with it."

This altitude deal seems to have as much to do with a coaches' war of words as it does respiratory effects. Colorado tries to use it against the other team, perhaps to gain a mental edge.

but also means if WV doesn't match that scoring trend.. then WV will get behind and have a repeat of the ECU game.

In the end, not trying to decide which OL dominates which DL and which QB makes the best passes... just expecting a LOT of plays and a LOT of open space.

I agree the over is the play ...both defenses have a tendency to give up 24 or more points to even mediocre teams like E. Wash

Do not underestimate the Buffs playing under the lights and the crowd being all "lit" up with Ralphie running up and down the field.....Buffs will be sky high....
 
Add to that WV has a lot of uncertainties right now.....Their offensive philosophy is being questioned and this coach is being questioned...There is a lack of confidence offensively right now....
 
Look for Buffs to win a close game with the difference being WV turnovers.....likely a key interception...

A ton of talk here but not much insight, I like the under in this game tonight. Reed returns to the lineup tonight and look for both teams to try and run. WV does well when they run and so they will try and assortment of options but the Buffs can stop the run. The Buffs will look to run to set up a two demsional offense instead just relying on the passing game. This one goes under!

Cody Hawkins is somewhat inconsistent for my taste buds. If he can get consistent in this game it can open up the running game for Scott & James. The Colorado offensive line is just as physical as the ECU o-line so WVU will probably have a tough time getting to Cody in this one as well. If Colorado cannot generate a pass rush in this one they will be very vulnerable to the WVU offense.
 
Cannot choose a side on this one so I'm looking at the over in this one. I'll pull the trigger closer to gametime in this game.

I like auau4040's reasoning.  Also, neither of the defenses are great, but both of the offenses are quick paced, and I know that WV for one, can score quick and often, can Colorade keep up?  I don't think so..OVER big, and a smaller play on WVU..

Well fellow degenerates this is a tough game, but I will have "HOME TEAM GETTING POINTS" on my gravestone. CU +3.5 for small play.

Hmm....  Not so sure about this game, but since its the only one I have to bet.  There is too much money going on WV and the line is moving the other way (I got +3 -120).  the books know something we don't, but then maybe the ball bounces well for WV and Vegas takes a bath.

I have to think that when the books were making this line they knew that a TON of money would come on WV, but they still put it at -3.  Why not -4.5 or more to even the action?  Heck, even at -4.5 books would still get heavy action from the public on WV.  And why did the line move to -2.5 for a brief moment?  Sharp money probably scared Vegas.

Colorado has played NOBODY! Never lay your money on an unproven team. WV only lost to East Carolina who has surprised everybody this year. After the week off WV will be ready to handle business.
 
WV -3 is money in the bank.

This really is a tough one to Call. Colorado has a great passing game and WV's defensive secondary has been playing horribly.
 
However I think the differnce in this game is the week off West Vrgina has had to prepare.Word has it that there will be wrinkle to the WV game plan. After catching a wooping in their last game I don't think Colorado will catch WV sleeping which was the case with ECAR.
