Virginia tech is getting no respect in this game for a team that has a ights out defense to match LSU's defense. i see a very low scoring affair, and I will buy the spread up to 15 and take Virginia Tech for the cash. Close games mean take the underdog. Virginia tech is not the kind of team that you can give two touchdowns. The lackluster performance at home last week sets up the public to believe that the Hokies have no chance in this game. Without any research whatsoever, I am choosing the underdog in this game.

But, we are 1-7 SU as double digit dogs since 1992. Beamer is 1-13 SU vs. the Top-5 all-time.
My spys are telling me a lot. I kan't ghost it all on this free-view MB. But it does look like LSU has a mild OLine edge (left side), which could be the turning point in what should very much be an all out, hurtful, physical, grueling, defensive struggle. LSU obviously has a killer home-field edge. Death Valley south is about as tough a joint to play in as there is, this side of Alcatraz. Our Oline will have at least issues with LSU's DLine. LSU prolly has the best DLine in D-1 in fact. So a Hokie win would require some ST's or Defensive scoring, as I'd set our offensive O/U total at 6 points down in Bayou Bengal country. IF you think Frank can generate those non-offensive points, take VT & the points or the $-Line SU. Me? I consider this a race to 13. First one there wins. Gonna take the LOW, as Miss.State did get 11 TFL & 3 sacks vs. LSU.

VT is 35-2 SU in September since 1995.

Tech's "D" and ST's could surprise here and pull off the nearly unthinkable, but the odds are pretty much stacked against that happening.
Would it shock me? No, it wouldn't, but not counting on it.
LSU in 'death valley' at night, ranked number two in nation, playing another ranked team (9th) who beat them in their only game in Lane Stadium just a very short few years ago, and is looking for some payback. Tigers are mad, and hungry to boot....not a good situation for anyone to go into.
I added LSU on a couple of smaller teasers also.
Of course, I'd be more than willing to lose those bets , to see my homies pull one out though. If not, I'll take the green and cry all the way to the bank.

Now that Va Tech has played their first game, they should be in position to focus on football a bit more. They'll be hungry to play much better and it's completely reasonable to think LSU will come back to Earth after their dominating Game 1 performance.
Va Tech has an overpowering defense, and I'm thinking that even if they struggle on offense, the defense will keep this close. I'll be taking the points on Saturday night.
Good luck!

lsu played a somewhat sloppy game even though the score says different. definetely think they ran a somewhat vanilla offense to save the pain for this weekend on national tv in the valley. first half will be close but imo lsu will pull away and cover. did anyone see perilloux, flynns back-up. that is the future of the tigers unbelievable looked like russel.

Have to go by what I witnessed last week and I'm sorry to say I was not very impressed with V-Tech. They make for a nice national feel good team. But i'm laying the points and going with LSU.
I see a beat down coming.....

I love all the the people that have a magic crystal ball in here. Well i guess I better listen to you guys since you guys already know the final scores

what do you think the O/U is on Tyrod Taylor getting in the game and burning his redshirt? (he's a 5-star hotshot freshman QB -- the nation's number ONE.... 'run/throw' type QB, for those that are curious). He's the future at VT, and he's got the entire package, just inexperienced.
He has the arm, vision, quickness, agility, excellent speed, accuracy, quick release, poise & maturity of an upperclassman already, makes good decisions, easily escapes tackles, etc. Exciting kid and Vick-like, as a QB, but with much higher standards. Just a great kid.
He has been showing better and better in practices. Little weak on reading defenses as yet, and would have to work with a cut-down playbook, due to inexperience, but upside is super-dooper. I'm hoping Beamer might try and work him in, if needed.
If Glennon is struggling, and we get 10 points down, you think they're likely to bring him in, or not? I'm unsure, but it would be one HELL of a surprise for LSU -- whose expecting a slow, immobile, QB in Glennon, and hasn't gameplanned for anybody else, in all liklihood.
