Well...I like Vandy in this game.  Doesn't look like Miss State has much of a defense, so I expect Vandy to be able to score and cover -2.5...only thing that has me worried is after a big win, they might have a let down.  I am going to go ahead and stick with Vandy on this one, but I just hope they don't have a let down week

Vandy caught in a sandwich game with a big win against Auburn last week and Georgia next week, plus they are on the road this week. Eventhough Miss St is a cellar dweller, they are still an SEC school and will bring it to a sleeping Vandy squad.

Vandy defense has to step up in this one or else they will see their first loss of the year. I'm going to bet the streak remains intact for one more week then reality sets in, in the name of GEORGIA. Just ask Hawaii.

A absolutely smell the same thing alot you dudes do on this one:  somethin's up with that line.  They are begging you to bet Vandy and you know the casual fan is going to take one look at that line and do just that. 

Some shrewd handicappers here at covers.

I agree that this looks like a trap game, a set-up AND a possible let down with Georgia on the quick horizon, the Bulldog defense being what it is and yes . . .the cowbells . . . God I HATE those frigging cowbells . . .

I'll be on Mississippi State with the rest of ye'.  I'm drivin' to Vegas this weekend anyway and hopin' that line goes up to a nice fat 4 or 4.5 by game time . . . but I'll take it at 3.

I understand the sentiment about Miss State at home and Vandy in a sandwich game, but Vandy is well coached and determined to get bowl eligible for the first time in over a decade.  The only reason to make me even think MSU can play this game tight, or win, is the bye week advantage State has.  At this time of the year that can be huge and I normally bet the team that is rested.
 
MSU can play good defense, but just has no way to put up enough points to stay with Vandy.  It won't be a blowout, but Vandy will cover this small line.  Lay the points and believe in Vandy one more week.  The bubble will burst but not in Starkville.

 i think everyone here may be underestimating Vandy just like the others teams they've played. I really think Vandy is a strong team this year. Georgia Tech blew out Mississippi st. I think Vandy will do the same. GL to all.

Afraid this may be a trap game because I see no reason Vandy should not win by 10 points here.  This is one of my weelend locks.  Vandy all day.

I said 3 weeks ago to ride Vandy and a couple other teams til they lost ATS.....Penn St. bucked me, Ball St. bucked me with my local two weeks ago by the hook.......but last week I changed my own mind and fell into that trap and changed my bet late in the week and took Auburn........and it cost me a three team parlay that would have made my Saturday mildly profitable instead of mildly unprofitable!!!!  I won't make that mistake again.  Ride the teams that are COVERING until proven otherwise!!!  There are always a couple that make it through the year 10-2 or 11-2 ATS.......at leat no more than 3 loses a year.  I'll take that all day long.

Leaning on State here. I'm sorry, but all Vandy did was beat a weak Auburn team. I like State at home here. Under might be the best play though. Croom is a defensive guy and well neither team has impressed me on offense.

shep.... whats good wit ya man? wish you werent banned cause with ya help you been winnin me some cheese this year!! miss. has an awful run defense...dont you think vandy is gonna run all on them? with just 2 points im thinkin bout goin big on vandy.. also lovin the michigan game think they will rip another asshole in toledo after gettin embarassed against illi. let me know something
