Grats to any SMU backers 1H. I had a feeling the game would be close early. Still think TCU asserts itself 2H with an early score and puts the hammer down on D. No way they let SMU run consistently for first downs this half. 2H line is -10.5 TCU and it's not quite as good as my teaser at -10.5 TCU game (got it early), so I'm laying off a 2H bet.

Good game plan by SMU but hang onto your hat this 2H, June Jones.

Yea, it appears TCU plays better in their 2H's than the 1H's.  Then again, SMU isn't a bad team either--underrated to me.

Sure, the Mustangs won 8 games LY and have definitely improved... but, let's face it, fellas... this is still a program that went 1-11 in both 2008 and 2009... and when you're that kind of college football doormat, "up" is the only direction you got!

Unlike others, I'm not reading too much into the SMU win over Washington State LW... considering it was the first Mustang win over a BCS school in the past 10 years!  The SMU defense (already having allowed 9 TDs TY) couldn't force 1 turnover against the sorry ass WSU Cougars! 

Before beating WSU, SMU lost their opener vs Texas Tech... and beat UAB in Week 2.  Texas Tech is currently ranked #73 in NCAA Total Defense. Washington State and UAB are at #107 and #103 (out of 120).  TCU is currently ranked at #4!

In terms of total offense, UAB is #51, Texas Tech #78, and Washington State #88.  TCU is currently ranked #14! 

Frog QB Dalton is absolutely on fire... and TCU now 42-21 ATS since 2005!  I eagerly got on board a couple days ago... LARGE, as they say:

TCU -17 1/2

Just one thing to remember when picking double digit favorites when the public is on the "Favored" team...
