I will be at the game tomorrow, I made my bet on Monday and took USC -24.
 
The Beavers are tough to beat at home and this really is their Bowl Game but I just don't see them covering at all.
 
If you see a guy wearing a Nebraska sweatshirt run on to the field and make a tackle to prevent a backdoor cover just say thank you...
 
One of you could actually bail me out, that would be nice too...

Well if you are into that kinda stuff like I am then here's a little more to add to that....

OSU 27-14 ats at home vs Pac 10

USC 1-6 ats in first Pac 10 road game

OSU 5-1 ats as a home underdog vs top 10 teams

OSU 2-31 vs USC SU

OSU 6-19-1 ats vs USC

USC since coach Carroll is 11-3 ats as a favorite when the spread is around the 21.5 - 31 points

USC 10-2 ats when the total is in the area of 49.5 - 56


These are the stats plus a few others that got me at still thinking..

and it doesn't help that my first half line is at -14 and final at -27.

The system that I use for a many number of years now and has been good to me factored in the numbers at USC a 24 point favorite. Not sure if taking either side for my taste is at a good value.

It's either lay off this game for me or start looking at the SMU game and I would hate to do that.

I'll probably be back in this one

i'm one of the biggest USC fans in Hawaii.. in fact planning on going there next fall after i finish up my Associates over here, but i really think Oregon State is gonna cover.. i see no one on this thread has mentioned that USC's #1 corner is out of the game.. i think thats pretty importent considering that OSU's WRs are the strength of that offense two of their recievers are in the top four of the Pac-10.. everyone is also saying how pete carrol has had a week to prepare.. well so has oregon state, so i don't see that being much of a factor.. Mike Riley is one of the most underrated coaches in the nation in my opinion.. just my two cents..

I am very tempted to take USC at the half at -14 myself but I have been getting gun shy lately. My no play on the Chargers is still kicking me in the a$$.

possible backdoor cover, Pete Carrol doesnt run up the score often.

Good luck on OSU bro and at USC next fall

I do agree with you on OSU's offensive weapons with the Rodgers brothers James & Jaquizz. Also Sammy Stroughter & Shane Morales the seniors on offense make great weapons for OSU.

What steers me away from OSU is that they have only 3 sacks on the season. I cannot see OSU having an easier time against the USC o-line in this one. If they allow Sanchez a lot of time to survey the field OSU will have a hard time stopping USC from scoring.

I do agree with the corner being out for USC, but if OSU cannot stop USC from scoring it will turn OSU's offense 1 dimensional and easier to defend with or without USC's #1 corner IMO.

I could be totally off my brother on that one but just my opinion my friend.

Blkshrt, if I find my balls soon enough to take SC and you prevent that back-door cover from happening I have no problem bailing you out of jail.

thanks braddah.. i think that with over a week to prepare for USC they'll be able to get some new blitz packages in and get some pressure on sanchez..

No play today,even though I think it's too many points and Vegas may be looking for a score, still plenty of season left no need to spin the wheel quite yet.

i have a small book here in ny ..... i have about 35 solid players ... i have as of 8 am NY time ,,,, $6300.00 OSU   2100.00 USC   i am waiting until 45 mins before game time ... but i already got the call saying " dont lay any of this off"  and most of the other guys in the area are doing the same .... i think i like OSU in this one .... i had 6 of my about 35 players hit 13 out of 16 last week .... these guys havent worked in about 15 yrs .... i am going with OSU  big ...you take it the way you want  but i think its a sucker bet if you take USC

Who am I?  NEW - a rOOk -  the group; tryin to pave a path and win some  for GAS money these dazzz   Anyhow, thought I would put my two zents in - take what you may from it!  I learned REAL quick not to bet against the HOMEDOGGIE after getting my nutz shot by a tack gun with two major loses on Thursday nights - yes it  BAD
 
However, i am taking the big machine (USC) to cover on this one 
OST is horrible and as someone put it, "how will they score."  Crowd or no crowd on their side; forget about it - no way!

Maybe I read what you posted wrong...?  You said you have $6300.00 in action on OSU. And Aprox $2100.00 USC? But you arent going to lay any of the 6300.00 off, and you like OSU to cover? Help me understand that. Not trying to be a jerk off, just ddidnt understand your posting sounded backwards.
