Ohio vs. Marshall
Random Stats:
Ohio Offensive Breakdown:
Points Scored: 75
Total Yards: 98
Pass Yards: 77
Rush Yards: 94
Marshall Defensive Breakdown
Points Allowed: 59
Total yards allowed:80
Pass Yards Allowed:99
Rush Yards Allowed: 62
Analysis: Not a lot going on here. Both teams are pretty mediocore on these sides of the ball. Ohio is a better passing team, and marshall is a better rush stop defense. If Ohio can get some production out of the backfield I think they'll do okay.
Marshall Offensive Breakdown:
Points Scored: 94
Total Yards: 78
Pass Yards: 61
Rush Yards: 72
Ohio Defensive Breakdown
Points Allowed: 32
Total yards allowed: 52
Pass Yards Allowed:41
Rush Yards Allowed: 72
Analysis: Once again not a lot going on here. Ohio is pretty solid on the defensive side of the ball, especially against the run. Marshall is a better running team then passing, but I don't expect a whole lot of success. Also, Marshall starting back is Probable for this game. I see a low scoring affair in this game...

Red Zone Scores (offensive and defensive)
Sorry guys I do not have these stats for this game. My usual websites didn't have an updated 2009 Ohio statistic sheet. Here is Marshall's though.
Marshall:79% and 79%
Red Zone Touchdowns (offensive and defensive)
Marshall: 50% and 57%
First Half Scoring:
Ohio: Outscores opponents 152-136
Marshall: Outscored BY opponents 148-137
Turnover Margin:
Ohio: +14%
Marshall: -5%
Analysis: Sorry about this one guys. Couldn't find the usual information. I know this write up is not up to par but the turnover margin here is HUGE. If you examine deeper, Ohio has forced 20 INT and 16 Fumbles on defense, and Marshall has thrown 13 picks and lost a fumble 8 times. Look for Ohio to force a lot of fumbles here in this game.
Final Analysis: While this breakdown of the numbers did not help all that much, I had a very strong fealing coming into this game anyway. I will be on Ohio and the Under. Look for Ohio to jump out to an early lead (look at first half scoring numbers) and then have the Ohio defense shut down the Marshall air attack.
