NU always seems to play to the level of their competition, (at least for a half).  -8.5 on the road seems high. 

Persa has turf toe that should slow him down.  The defense will be starting a couple new linebackers.  The secondary is downright bad. 

How good is the freshman QB for Indiana.  Even a poor NU defense might cause some confusion.  His mobility may give NU problems.

If I had to bet the game.  I would take IU and under.  Fitz and Company are usually conservative and will probably try and stubbornly run the ball.
