I expect huskers to be favored here by up to a TD (hopefully it is 4-5)...I will be jumping on the Huskers early here...Coaches will have them amped back up after the big 12 champ dibacle last night.....Arizona is solid, but Husker D will want to go out on top and I have to believe that OC Watson finds some semblance of balls over the next 25 days and is able to breathe some fire in the offense...(or better yet, maybe he takes another job elsewhere)

Good matchup expect Neb to come out pissed after loss to Texas but dosent weird things happen to this team!.

hmm..pick em and 42.5...huskers lack of offense (that is being KIND) obviously is the reason for the line imo...I am on the Huskers here...no total yet for me...game SHOULD go under, but damn, that is low

Interesting match up here. High octane passing offense in Arizona against Nebraska vaunted Defense.Hard to predict .

you cant be serious??  They likely travel better then any team out there - a few years back they had 60-70% of Notre Dame stadium in red...they had 30-40k out there for the rose bowl in 2001 (granted, that was a big game).  Huskers sold out of their allotment in 1 1/2 days for the Holiday bowl.  I would expect at least 20-25k husker fans in San Diego...but, it will certainly be a pro zona crowd

lol, yeah this guy must be new to college football or something. nebraska travels extremely well. i expect more corn than cats at the game for sure.

maybe by "huskers" he meant the actual team...i know you think of yourself and your contingent of fans as huskers but it seems more than reasonable to me that he meant the team itself plays worse than expected away from nebraska

(now you can say how they almost beat va tech and handled colorado and kansas and almost had texas away from home )

Sorry about the confusion.  Neb does travel well (# of fans at a game) but I was talking about the team and how they don't seem to play upto their ability away from Home stadium.  BTW, I am changing my bet and taking Neb.  Not that impressed with Az after some research.  GL to your team

apologies friend.....I will be on Huskers and Under here...basically, I am betting on the offense somehow, someway, actually showing up for this game..to ask the Defense to carry the load yet again is a tall order (how many times in a season can they do it??).  Waiting to see if I can get another point or so as it gets closer to game time..this will be a close game I believe..

Arizona shouldn't be able to score more than 17 in this game.  You can prepare for Nebraska's D for a month, and it won't make a difference.  The only real question is can Nebraska's offense produce? 

I think the Huskers can manage a TD or two, and maybe pick up some points on defense.

Not saying Nebraska will win, but they can cover as a 3 point dog.  The Huskers have only lost one game by more than 2 points this year, and Arizona ain't no Texas Tech.

On a side note:

What a season.  Nebraska could easily have been 12-1.  One last second TD by Virginia Tech.  Too many turnovers in the red zone against Iowa State (something like 4 in the red zone alone).  One magical second given to Texas in the Big 12 Championship. 

Can you imagine a BCS conference team having one of the bottom 25 offenses in the nation and having only one loss at the end of the season AND a conference championship?

Oh well.  Woulda, coulda, shoulda.  We could have gone 7-6 just as easily.  But it's frustrating having one of the best defenses in the history of a program best known for its defenses, and coincidentally having one of the worst offenses in the history of the program in the same year...

I take that back.  What I meant to say is they're no Texas Tech offensively.  Their defense is pretty good, but offensive performances against Stanford, Washington State, Oregon State, and Oregon don't impress me, as their scoring defenses are questionable (all ranked worse than 50th nationally).  Meanwhile, Arizona averages 21 ppg against opponents with scoring defenses better than 50th.

On the contrary....AZ's OC is Sonny Dykes.....who was the OC at Texas Tech before he took the AZ job.
