Its not that hard to go 6-1 down the stretch with that schedule. You can chuck the California and Oregon "quality" wins out the window because neither had their starting QB. Cal gave the game away and Oregon, without Dixon, took them to OT. The sloppy track favors Maryland's running game.
Side note: If you remember last years game, both teams share the same sideline, so when one team is in the redzone it is a real bitch for the team down the other end to make substitutions. Bowden took advantage of this a few times last year and I expect Freidgen to do the same. Fear the Turtle.
