My stats show the following calculation:

LOU - 33.4
MEM - 20.8

Rounding this up and summing gives a total of 55, almost the line. On wagerline I took the OVER. Technically, however, the UNDER is a better pick. Keep in mind that the normalized stats show LOU defense completely dominating MEM. 

The stats also show LOU -6.5 as the right choice. On wagerline I took LOU -6.5. This is the right choice. However, the issue I see here is Cantwell is injured and his performance cannot be counted on. 

Too risky to invest my $$$$ on any part of this game.

Louisville have outgain their opponents over 230 yards the last 3 game, but lost to Uconn 2 weeks ago. Louisville and Memphis both have a balance attack . The different is Cardinal defense against the run is much better than Memphis (giving up 170 on the ground compare to Louis 70 per game). The one problem i have for Louisville tonight is their kicking game . They are going to have to gamble on fourth down, because their fg kicker is supsended..
 
Louis is my play -6.5  for the game .
Leaning on the Under as well  BOL guys

One more thing I would like to add, Louisville have played against better competitions, not great but better than Memphis..

Memphis last week gave up alot on the ground. UAB QB had a Field day on Memphis D. I think the Over is the play here.  There will be TD coming from Special teams. and TO on both sides.

WTF? Thats all I could say this morning when I woke up and saw the UAB-Houston score. I stopped watching the game at half thinking that UAB up 20-3 and getting 18 was pretty safe at that point. Now I gotta make it back tonight.

I like Memphis as the home weekday dog here.....just because it kinda feels like things are trending that way and I think the Big Easy..i mean Big East is a dump of a Conference........I know that Conference USA isnt exactly the SEC either......but don't think CUSA is 2 many clicks below the BigEast........this jus really seems like the perfect spot for Louisville ta not show up and look like garbage......and gotta go with the under here too......seems like the over is just too easy ta take.....and like I always say........betn just ain't easy...........1 unit on Memphis (I got them +7 @ my book).....and 1 unit on under 56

memphis should cover tonite. normally I go against them but tonite there is something different going on. Elvis is alive...breaking news he has been living at the liberty bowl in the press box...cbs just ran the story......he says he'll sing at halftime....this should fire up the crowd...jerry lee lewis is the kicker and cybil shepard is going to do the cardinal team before the game....how about dem apples.

I have to take the dog here......L'ville isn't the same old team we have come to know......Memphis is on a 3 game win streak........L'ville has played almost all thier games at home.......and some not to well I might add........now they go travel.  I'll take the dog and the under in a little two team parlay for my friday night fun.  GL boys and girls!!!

Memphis goes up early in this one only to lose in a tight game with lots of scoring.  Gotta bleed a MEM/Over parlay tonight.

As much as I hate to be on the "public" side, I like L'ville in this matchup.  It's late enough in the season to start evaluating how teams have played against other teams and what those other teams have done against other teams.  Frankly I don't know a whole lot about these teams, but that method of analysis has done well by me.  Louisville has played better against better opponents and getting back last year's star receiver should further elevate their play.  There is no doubt that this is not the same Louisville of years past, but it doesn't have to be to cover 6 against Memphis.
Also liking the over since neither team has the talent to shut down the other.  Small parlay of Louisville and the over too.

Actually, correct me if I'm wrong, last night, by game time, WF became the underdog, which fit the Thurs day Home dog scenerio. Some of us who placed our bet during the week  cause we have choosen Clemson.

Oh well, shit happen.
