Three undefeated teams left and I have a feeling two of them lose and Ala-freaking-bama gets into the title game (probably against Oregon). Who's gonna bet against that happening?
I think Baylor gets up for this one just to help screw things up.

I like K-State here. Their defense is great. They average +2 turnovers a game. Their offense will keep Baylor's offense off the field. Their also 8-1-1 ATS.
As for Baylor, the only conference game they have won was against Kansas, they're 4-5 straight up, 5-4 ATS. They have a great offense and QB, but they can't stop anybody.
Bill Snyder will have K-State ready to play, as always. This is a lunch bucket team and they'll get the job done on Saturday.
K-State - 11 1/2

Is there any chance K-State might get cocky because they are #1 now and they might take Baylor for granted? Next thing you know, they are down by 2 tds in the 1st half and never recover from it? Let's face it, this is like a championship game for Baylor because they are facing the #1 team in the nation. Baylor got nothing to lose, so they will try everything including trick plays to win the game!

Kansas State has controlled all of their games so far and Baylor is too soft on defense. K-State defense will slow Baylor down a great deal and Kansas should cover by two touchdowns. They are simply a dominant and overall better team with plenty to play for. Play on Kansas State...

WTF They have given up an average of 17 pts per game and only 19 to a great team in Oklahoma and all of a sudden Baylor is going to lay 56 on them. Now that is funny.

this is a dangerous spot for Kansas St... but Baylor is not a dangerous team...
of all teams in CFB that are unlikely to suffer a letdown, with 2 games remaining to play in a NC game... a Bill Snyder coach is literally the least likely... gonna be a whole lotta people pissed at themselves (once again) for over-thinking this game...
K St (-10.5) for me... no extra juice!

I've stated it on other threads. This team, this coach, are not the letdown type. Very focused and disciplined...I'm looking forward to seeing them in the NC game...

there is a back-story to this team, that anybody who hasn't been following CFB for at least 10-15 years will not know about... back when Snyder was in his first run with Kansas St (back in the 90's), K St was a perennial powerhouse for about 6 years... and 2 years in a row they were the arguably the best team in football...
to make a long story short... K St went thru the season, unbeaten, and just had to beat a good (but not great) Tx A&M team in the Big 12 championship, and they would have played in the NC game... A&M played out of their minds, and beat Kansas St in one of the most amazing football games i've ever seen... K St fought their asses off, but lost in the final seconds (don't remember the details)...
suffice to say... that was Snyder's best chance to win a NC, and it slipped away just seconds from the big game...
i have to believe Snyder is about as hungry to get that second chance, as anybody that has ever coached this game... the guy is not just an X's and O's genius... he is a motivational wizard!
i will be VERY shocked if Kansas St suffers any kind of letdown in these last two games, and does anything other than put Baylor and Texas away EARLY, to ensure they don't get tight in the 4th quarter of a close game...
if Baylor or Texas were dangerous teams, it could be a problem... but K St is more than capable of beating both of these teams by 3+ TDs... i fully expect that they will...
if they get past Baylor, the game against Texas could be my play of the year, if the line is under 10... right now at some books you can get Kansas St -7 for the Texas game... if you can get it... jump on that shit!

ApocalypseLater, thanks for bringing that stuff up. Obviously Snyder is a motivational genius...it's not like he's getting much better players at KSU than before. He's just getting the most from them.
I think a KSU-Oregon match up would be intriguing. Giving Snyder that long to get his team ready for a team as explosive as Oregon would make it more evenly matched than most would think.

bmilehigh... i want to see that matchup, for the fact that it would be the most exciting possible NC game... but from a betting perspective, i would want to be getting 6 or more with Kansas St to feel very good about it...
i would much rather see an Oregon - ND or Kansas St - ND matchup, for the money-making opportunity... or even Tx A&M - ND, for that matter... any of those 3 should eat ND for lunch...
but i agree ND - Oregon would be very intriguing... two completely different styles of football... would be fun to watch!

I just can't see baylor stopping them on any possession, not even 1 possession. And i see kstate stopping them on at least 30-40 % of there's. Out of all the teams the one team that has looked the most consistent on BOTH sides of the ball to me is kstate. Don't get me wrong baylor can flat out score with the best of them, but that defense is so bad i just cant see them keeping up.

well the line has bloated to 13.5 for KSST here at OLG in Canada. Bears have a decent D and should be able to hang here i think. As the seeson gets harder and a team is still spotless,every1 will try to knock u off the hill. Look at what happend to my Bama :(. Will the Bears win? dont think so but,i think they can cover.

The Bears have a decent D? Are you talking about the Chicago Bears? Baylor doesn't have a D, Half the guys posting on this forum could probably start on Baylor's D right now. They are the worst defense in college football. They will not do anything to stop K-State today unless they grab the ball and run out of the stadium.
K-State 52, Baylor 17
