Fresno w/ (3) gimpy O-linemen, a doubtful (nearly centerpiece) of their offense (RB) and a questionable number 1 WR, that I'm sure they'll need to stay w/in the number, no thanks. If ANY of the above variables misses too many snaps, I don't see Fresno hanging w/in a TD tonight. As stated earlier, the house gets theirs Thursday (not from me though), and here's your chance to 1 up them. ILLINI -5
Illinoi's main deficiency this season seems to be defending the pass. Their D-line is actually a strong point, and they're currently healthy. Although they've hade the luxury of their offense hitting stride, adjusting thier assignments to far more favorable situations/outcomes. Fresno's nicked up OL-RB-and WR are certain to provide such opportunities. Obvious statement, I know, yet if Illinios doesn't have to respect the run, they'll be able to hide their one true weakness, at the same time applying some additional pressure. It's far easier to throw an extra DB on the field, or drop an extra LB in help coverage when your line isn't as concerned about gap assignments. Looking for a little value in the line, my personal assumption leads me to believe somewhere, the shootout vs. Michigan is statistically factored into this line. that could very well be REALLY stupid thinking, yet I'm just giving my side. I don't think this Fresno squad, under current situations, ;provides such a threat to the Illinios D.
I've also really learned to respect the revenge factor of this biz, and llinois fits that one as well. I just don't think it will be a shootout like last yr.

Here's the "SKINNY" my betting friends always ask me. And my bookie (one of my buds) hates it !! The skinny for weeknight action is the house starts out fast, winning with the dog, as 70% on AZ. Favors bettors finished the weekend strong last week, so obviously they roll the fave for the first weeknight action.....and get whapped. Now, the house gives those who stay the course a less than TD favorite winner w/ the Illini -5. Simply my take, yet the "favorites hammers" jump the fence tonight with a reasonably known squad getting 5 at home, and get "whapped" again. The difference is the game sanwiched in the middle. This is the "sketchiest" play of the three, yet upon seeing the public love for No-ILL, i'd say the mac championship game stays w/in 17.5, and the favorites bettors have another "not-so-great" start to the football weekend, especially those that fit into the "public" profile, and try to get tricky taking a home dog w/ Fresno. And to my bookie buddie, he'll be having steak and drinks tonight at the Outback or something, while I help him take calls, since he's having so much "free" fun. As for myself, I'll bet 2 of 3 dawgs, and sneak out to a running start for this weekends action. Don't get to silly this weekend. leave some "roll for the bowls", or else don't get yourself "too deep" to have some bowl action. Best of Luck All.

I wanted Fresno in hopes the local was going to juice up the line in favor of a Fresno play but no such luck.
glad to help and there are a lot of members in here (a whole lot) that are way better in here than I am so a lot of my take on plays are based on their useful info....My friends in here are really sharp so keep an eye out for their post as well.
