This confuses me. (not much doesn't).... If public is hammering the over, wouldn't the book's total go up?

Aside from my question:  If they played to a 17-16 final last year with virtually the same teams in tact......The under sounds good to me.

TCU defense will shut the Broncos down and I really think they could've beat ANY team this season..... Hope they don't take Boise lightly though.  TCU should win by more than 2 TDs this time around.

BOISE ST +7. Pretty easy wager here. Boise State's QB Kellen Moore is the nation's top-rated passer who has been sacked five times all season - none in the last five games.  Moore finished second nationally with 39 touchdown passes while throwing three interceptions.

I like the under in this game as well, last year TCU beat Boise State 17-16 with a late come back in the Poinsettia Bowl.

Cant wait for this game to start. Should be a good one.

 

Sorry for double-posting - i was really wondering if anybody had a take on the Surface of this game and the fact that TCU seems disappointed to be in this bowl game with this opponent -

how is the over not a great pic in  this one? TCU has scored 50+ 3 outa the last 4 and boise can put up some points....im usually wrong with my thought process but i just cant see the under hitting on this one. oh man im confused

Mountain West makes it 5-0 in the postseason tonight. Gary Patterson and Horned Frogs will be on a mission to prove that the BCS couldn't pick a winning team if it crawled up their ass. Elevating Cincinnati to #3 over the Frogs was the ultimate insult. The BCS probably slighted the Frogs because they didn't want Urban Meyer siezing up with a massive coronary in a game against TCU. I'm looking for a tough game tonight, but TCU is on a MoWest mission. Frogs by 14. Tonight.

started out loving TCU, however the more i look at it I am taking Boise +7.5.

boise st. is used to being the underdog/overachiever and TCU has just stepped into that role recently and I think TCU has their feelings hurt by being in this bowl. I would not be surprised to see Boise win SU

These two teams are evenly matched, with a slight nod going to TCU's D as the possible difference maker.

I like TCU with the ML tonight.  I think it will be a close game.  More like a 3 pt game or so.  I am also taking the Under at 55.  Teams are similar to last years (17-16 score) and I see no reason it won't go under again.

My guess:  TCU 21 BoisST 20

Boise St.  +7  

 

I would go with another low scoring affair - game goes either way but enough for Boise to cover.

The number is going down because they are begging you to take the over - when the public pounds one side and the line goes the wrong way its 'usually' a sign that they are begging you to take that side (in this case the over).  I'll go small on the under tonight.
