I'm having a hard time not taking the points here. In fact, I'm having a hard time not taking the points in the remaining bowl games. I'm already on Iowa and Texas +4/4.5. (Not playing the Wed. game tho.) Dogs have been covering well this bowl season, in many cases winning outright.
That said, I am feeling more solid on Iowa and Texas covering. Perhaps this is the exception where the fave rules.

BigKnocker, not sure about your comment on BSU's terrible defense. Things to consider about BSU
1. They are 48 - 4 w/ Petersen as coach
2. Oregon didn't get a 1st down i believe until mid way in the 3rd quarter this year on their terrible defense
3. They did beat Oregon at Oregon last year. (This team does step it up in the spotlight)
4. Kellen Moore's pass efficiency
Should be a great game

Phil Steele thinks it will be close, calls it a 3-pt game. He has been pretty good this bowl season, and I think he was 5-0 on New Year's Day. He doesn't sell his picks but posts them daily. Here is his take, fwiw, and his predicted score is 27-24.
This is an excellent matchup between two undefeated teams and a rematch from last year’s Poinsettia Bowl which TCU won 17-16. The Horned Frogs finished the game with a 472-250 yard edge but had numerous blown opportunities. They were intercepted at the Boise St 5, stopped on downs at Boise’s 34, and int’d again at the Boise 27 and despite a 246-106 yard edge trailed 13-7 at halftime. The Horned Frogs were able to score a couple of times in the 2nd half and and on the last play stopped Boise's famed Hook-and-Ladder which eventually turned into a fumble. TCU coach Patterson has said that this is a statement game and his teams have performed well in similar situations. However Boise St won’t lay down and Petersen is an excellent coach as well. TCU does have the talent edge and should come away with the victory in an exciting Fiesta Bowl.

Even though it seems I'm more pissed off with this team more times than not what with going for 2 on a first TD of a game and shit like that. Like they did @ Tulsa back in OCT a game I still hung on and hit both sides of I might add. I'm gonna go with 'em here tonight and I expect a few pts scored in this 1 don't u easy? Potato St +7 &

Do you cappers think there is anything to be said about a team that is disappointed to be in their bowl game getting thrashed?
Also, I am busy today, can anyone break down the surface situation in this game?
Boise is obviously a turf team and will be on grass....is TCU a grass team playing on grass toinght?? IS that statement accurate?
