Ball State at Tulsa (01/06/2009)

I'm torn on the sides and total on this one.  Both teams lack of defense and high scoring ability tells my gut to go over the total, but I hate the bad weather possibilities and the Tues undergods didn't like my 2 overs last week Tuesday
 
I'm was also leaning on Ball St. I feel Nate Davis will be a key factor here with his mobility and passing attack against this Tulsa defense. I would feel a lot better if Donte Love was playing but he is out for the season.
 
2 more games of college football left so there are no more look at next weeks games. Nothing solid just going with the info provided here, my gut & a little dancing...

W8lifter above brings some very solid trends to the table and I think they are pointing to the public taking a bath tonight.  Don't forget, Tulsa got beat 70-30 by Houston this year is what was a big game.  The same team that split with Air Force this year.......and struggled in pass defense all year.  BSU finished 2nd in the conference in total D and played the best 4 teams in the conference at the end of the year in a row and lost to Buffalo on TO's........5 of them.......after only having around 11 all year coming into that game........I think that was an impressive run.  I'm taking Nate and the boys and rolling with the undah god's on the last college Tuesday night game of the year!!!  GL to you my friend and everyone else tonight!!!

The Golden Hurricane's were quite generous this year, giving up 29.1 ppg (86th) and 392.3 total ypg (85th), including 258.8 through the air (104th).

 Ball St. and and Under is my pick tonight.
I think MAC wins and it wont be high scoring.
My first thought is even 38-10 Ball St, but I think Tulsa should score more, so I will give them 20 , but either way i see Ball St. winning this game fairly easy with a more balanced attack against a porous Tulsa defense.
Ball QB and 2 running backs are good so they should move the ball at will tonight.
Tulsa is explosive and should do the same hence the big over #.  JMO I dont think they will. Taking Ball St. is safer to me than messing with the number.OT would send it over to 100 if neither one stops them in OT each time.  The weather is helping the under.

My local has the total at 70 still he must have heard of Big D famous under gods. I gonna follow along at first I liked Tulsa 
but after reading W8 post and the line shift I'm on BS +3.

Sharp, everyone is making a big deal about Ball State bowl record and that their coach left...but the truth is that stuff doesn't matter.
 
*Offensive coordinator Stan Parrish is the new head man at Ball State and interim coaches are actually 16-9 ATS in bowl games. If you recall last year when West Virginia, as 7.5 pt dogs to Oklahoma after Rich Rodriguez abandoned the team for Michigan.... Maybe you'll remember West Virginia pounded Oklahoma 48-28.
 
*I don't care about his coaching record at Kansas State in the late 80's either. If I were you I would be more concerned with the fact he was an assistant coach with Michigan when they won the Rose Bowl. He coached Tom Brady and Brian Griese so I'm sure he'll have Nate Davis read to play.

Ball QB is good running with the ball along with #33 you will see.
Tulsa lines up and slings it and trys moving down the field in seconds.
this is a bowl game and i think thats why i am coming up with a 38-10 blowout.
Ball SHOULD be able to dictate the entire game and the way they want to play it going up against a bad D like Tulsas in a big game like a bowl game
Mac won like 6 in a row when this started then lost, but 5 in a row says something, I know 0-6 Ball, but this is a different Ball than we have seen.  Started last year with the Qb throwing over 3000 yards, and he did it again this year.
If Ball play D, its over early.

Is The QB for Tulsa Black? All the Black QBs have been winning bowl games. And I know Ball St. QB is black.
