that being said... i like ol miss here. lsu has a terrible offense and just couldn't keep up. ol miss does not and being at home i think they will have a few defensive stands

Here is my take. The SEC campaign is brutal. It wears on every single team in the league (OK I know that's no surprise to anyone). No team is immune and specifically I think it wears on the defenses moreso than the Offenses. Auburn just came off a particularly physical game against LSU. I do not think they can possibly play with the same intensity on the defensive side of the ball that they did this past week. Take a look at the precedents...Alabama's defense at SC after a very physical game vs Florida....SC's defense the following week at Ky after a particularly physical game vs Alabama....Ky's defense vs GA after a physical game vs SC.....FL's letdown vs MSU after the Bama game...MSU's letdown last week vs UAB after their win at FL are several examples.

Ole Miss will score a lot of pts this weekend against a worn Auburn Defense...I'm sure Auburn will score their share of pts as well. I think the best play in this game is the Over.  

As far as the side. It does not seem that Auburn has had a letdown all year. They have played pretty consistent every week. Take a look at their schedule and tell me what game they have left gives the best chance of even a minor letdown? It's certainly not going to be the Bama game. It's not going to be the Georgia game either after they have the week off vs the Mocs. Yes it could be against the Mocs but AU's 2nd and 3rd string will cover that spread. So what game is left for AU to have a letdown? I know I can certainly be wrong, but don't be surprised if Ole Miss hangs in this game til the end and possibly even beats the Tigers.

So every game is explained by a letdown on one team, never solid play by the winner.  Wow, I think I will look for better analyses of games.  Auburn was excellent last week, just like they had to be, but they have been pushed to the max by several teams this year.  Old Miss isn't a very good team but they are capable of keeping this one close if Masoli doesn't turn the ball over.  Powe is very strong on the defensive front for the Rebels, but I don't think their defense has enough studs to stop Auburn's offense for 4 Qtrs..  Tigers will go down once or twice, but I don't think it will be this week.  Auburn is very pumped by their high ranking and will not be looking ahead with a breather next week. 

Small play for me on Auburn.

Ole Miss sucks IMO. Auburn covers this easily

I don't see how Ole Miss can stay with Auburn or even come close to stopping newton when he runs...I see Auburn with a double digit win

I think this will be a close game.  Auburn has NO defense.....Miss should be able to score on them.  Last possession wins, taking Miss +7 small bet

Auburn doesn't have a defense?  They have a dominating d-line and the TOP SEC lineman Mr. Fairley has been breaking qbs week after week...

Haven't been wrong on an ole miss post yet this year, i know my rebels.  huge crowd rolled in yesterday in oxford, the town is really up for this one.  I think we pull it out but kinda afraid we may loose on a last minute drive, either way ole miss covers here. very very close game.  i'll say we nail a 40 yard field goal to win by 2.

I have bet against Auburn for the last 2 weeks and I am an avid Auburn fan. My head says "start betting them now and get on the money train" but my gut says I usually make the switch 1 game too late! My biggest play today will be Ole Miss +7.5 buying a half. I am in Tupelo Mississippi now and the hotels are packed as Starkville is just up the road. I am having Dejavu of being here last year when the town was packed with Gator fans and Ole Miss won 31-30 as a huge dog. Looking for them to do the same today...the "atmosphere" is just the same!

I've been waiting on this line to move since it opened... but it hasn't.  Maybe that's still a sign seeing as though the majority of the public are on Auburn.  I wanted the hook but didn't buy it.  Went with Ole Miss +7 -102 (1 unit).

I usually don't call people out on here and maybe i'm just misreading your post but..what the hell are you talking about?  first of all we beat florida 2 years ago.. second, why would you and any gator fans be in tupelo during the game when the game was played at Florida?????? The "atmosphere is just the same"??? WHAT?? it was at Florida! there was no "atmosphere" here.. obviously you are just making shit up.

Take a chill pill...My GOD!!!

First of all I am an AUBURN fan...not a Gator fan.

Secondly, we were in Tupelo that weekend for some shopping and and could hardly find a room as the hotel WE stayed in was full of OLE MISS REBEL fans. The sports bars were full of Ole MIss fans and Florida fans watching the game, played NOT in Starkville BUT in Gainesville. Some of us fans who cannot travel to the game gather in sports bars and watch the game{s}. The "atmosphere" was simply that Florida was a heavy favorite and everyone was talking/acting like Florida was the dog. Which, obviously, turned out like Ole MIss was the favorite. Sorry if I was unclear. I can see why you don't usually "call people out" as it makes you look like an idiot.

All of you people calling for a letdown today..............I'd agree with you the majority of the time except for 2 words..............Cam Newton.

People just still don't seem to get it.  This guy is a SPECIAL player.  They don't come along very often.  He elevates the play of everyone around him.  No one seems to have an answer for him.

If you are making a play on Ole Miss today, you are making a play on Cam Newton having a bad game, period.  I really haven't seen one yet other than our coaches shutting down the offense in the 2H of the Kentucky game.

Given the fact AU has played 2 road games and won both by only 3 points, doesn't it seem a little generous for the oddsmakers to throw a TD out there to grab??
