Here's a copy/paste from this week's Gold Sheet. I tend to agree with the under and if forced to choose a side would lay the lumber. Saban is the best thing to happen to Bama since The Bear and Stallings. Even though I am a solid Auburn fan, you have to love Saban and his no-nonsense approach to the press. They will play this game like it's the last-no problems with looking ahead here. Saban made this EXACT point to the press time and time again last year as I watched the local news. He always kept the focus on the game and with disgust, would hardly even acknowledge questions from the press on anythng other than the game at hand-much less the next week's game.
GLA!!!
Alabama 42 - DUKE 7—Even with “murderer’s row” (at Ark., Florida, at South Carolina) on horizon for defending champs, lay the lumber against defenseless Duke, owning dubious distinction of scoring the most points in a losing effort in ACC history in 54-48 setback at Wake Forest. With speedy soph RB Trent Richardson (144 YR vs. Penn State) seamlessly filling in for Mark Ingram (he could return here), Tide will be “smoking” on “Tobacco Road,” where Blue Devils are only 2-10 as DD home dog since ‘05. REG. TV—ABC

though this could be a sandwich game, saban seems to have a winning attitude. you play at a high level every game. it is not your fault that the other team sucks. unfortunately, i don't believe my beloved texas longhorns have that mentality this year(or maybe these 4 star average recruits that Texas has don't have enough college game experience yet, yada yada)...
I think with Ingram back, Bama will be methodical. heck, crappy wake forest scored 58 on this duke D. that has to be in the minds of saban and his assistants. granted, bama has nothing to prove to anyone. if they win out, they play for the nc. but, i think it is a perception thing and good for recruiting to beat the bad teams big. saban will call the dogs off when they hit 50, but until then it is up to the "smart" and "full of heart" dukies to stop the Bama machine.
btw, your avatar looks like a dude with tits! is there something to that???
Go Auburn! Go Texas! Roll Tide!

Ingram could rest here as well, and the Tide would still cover. The sole hesitance on taking the Over is by mid-third quarter, Alabama will have second-team inserts, and go from there.
No heavy psychic claims, yet. . .this is how it'll turn out:
Alabama 44
Duke 13
