It is funny how fans get up on their teams when they haven't proven anything. Mississippi State might be the worst team in the SEC and Noel Divine is just that, divine! Auburn new OC was ARK OC just 2 years ago and is gonna thrive in this position over time, but not so sure WV doesn't have enough weapons to keep this game within a TD.

I am not 'up' on my team. Just gave my point of view. By no means is this going to be my largest bet of the year but I do like it. JHS will be rockin for a 6:45 kick. HCGC will keep the players 'on the ground'.

WVU beat Liberty and ECU

AU beat La. Tech and MSU

 

Devine has 192 yards on 36 carries

Brown has 142 yards on 19 carries

 

Tate has 274 yards on 40 carries

McCalebb has 262 yards on 38 carries

 

Brown has 577 yards on 57 attempts and completed 43. 4 TDs and 1 INT. Rating: 180

Todd has 441 yards on 49 attempts and completed 27. 2 TDs and 0 INT. Rating: 144

 

So, judging by this, WVU has a better air attack and AU has a better ground attack. The question now is, how about the teams each has played? Is Liberty and ECU better or worse than La. Tech and MSU?

you really cant look at those stats except in one way and that is qb play....  Auburn would love to have a qb in Brown and could be highlight of the big east this year.  Auburn will face the best they have faced as will WV and this will be a battle.  WV is 4-0 the last 4 years against the SEC FEAR THE THUMB

This is how sports books make their money... Because people look at well," AU beat LA Tech by this many points, and WVU only beat Liberty by this many points.... WVU beat ECU by this many points, but AU smoked an SEC team by this many... I think AU will win"

You can not look at games in that standpoint... One team may have 5'9 corners while the other may have 6'4 corners going up against 5'10 recievers... You have to look for the mismatches.....I have not looked into this game but my first instict is WVU..... If I see any mismatches I will definatly be pulling the trigger on WVU...

No, I like the play... I was not very clear... I figure since you are a student that when you win this play you will immediately head for the campus bookstore and buy more text books with the winnings... not like some Auburn kids I know; they would be tempted to spend it all on partying

Clearly, koko, I think Auburn wins because the beat La. Tech And MSU by X amount and WVU beat Liberty and ECU by Y. What else is there to base picks off of?

A little news from the Plains...
 
- Starting TE Tommy Trott will not be playing (knee). Philip Lutzenkirchen (FR. #43) and last years starter Gabe McKenzie along with FB Eric Smith will fill in the void.
 
- WR Tim Hawthorne might be back from his foot injury, according to WR Coach Trooper Taylor
 
- It has flooded here (Auburn) the past few days. 60% chance of storms Saturday.  Could this help offset some of that 'Devine' speed Auburn hasn't seen?

Im from WV and im not a fan and i RARELY wager on there games because i find them hard to handicap for me. Howver I really like wvu in this spot i think this is a 3 point game. Putting 2 units on this play.
