Why I hate Urban Meyer

He is a good coach who gets a lot of talent,

BUT..... When his talent messes up off field or on field he does not care because all he wants to do is win.

Brandon Spikes trying to gauge a kids eye on purpose and what does coach do?

Suspended for a half.

Are you fucking kidding me? What if he permantley damaged the kids eye? Would you suspend him for the game? Kid should get at least 3 games. Make an example. Oh wait only about 20 kids in your program have been in trouble but yet you do nothing because you care more about wins then the kids well being. He is a prick and NCAA should step in here and make an example.

For shits sake Dez bryant hung out with Deion Sanders and he gets suspended for the year.

But Someone trying to injure someone on PURPOSE only gets aa half suspension.

I saw the video this morning and thought it was horrific.  I know he left the game earlier and they showed him on the sideline getting work done on his eye so I assume it was some soft of pay back but it doesn&#x27;t matter he should be suspended for at least a couple of games.

True that, Qb4011.&#xD;&#xA;Blount gets suspended for (at least) half the season and Oregon and the Pac-10 hold out on the disciplinary hearing until AFTER the USC game.&#xD;&#xA;Meyer suspends Spikes for the first half against the worst team in the SEC ... that&#x27;ll teach him!

Have you ever been in a football pile before?? This happens in every game at every level. Nuts are grabbed, throats are choked, eyes are gouged. NFL players have admitted this happens on every fumble recovery pile.

Not excusing it but don't pretend that the players are your favorite team don't do the same.

I wouldn&#x27;t pretend it&#x27;s never done by anyone on my favorite team, but it&#x27;s not the first time Brandon Spikes has pulled this kind of cheap shot crap. He is a "dirty" player, and won&#x27;t change until he has some consequences for it.

I completly understand the frustration from the nation regarding the Brandon Spikes incident and I would never make an excuse for him in any way but did you watch the game? Georgia started out playing dirty football and continued throughout the game. Spikes had his helmet torn off 3 different times before the eye gouging incident and it got the best of him. Everyone who knows a little something about football, especially college football knows this stuff goes on all the time, this time he got caught. Spikes should be suspended for more then a half, I agree but give me a break this is not Urban Meyer&#x27;s fault, this is typical college football, these guys let their emotions get the best of them and lose it. No coach is ever going to change that...

This is pathetic and even worse, the SEC commissioner Mike Slive (who seems to be a gator homer) says the half game suspension is all that will be done. If someone tried to blind a Florida player, Slive would step in and make an example. Meyer is a scumbag and his players seem to follow suit.

Oh and QMICH, your a bigger dumbass, I replayed the game, his chin strap was on every play that you could see on tv, however the crap that some bulldog players did after each play got Spikes to lose his cool. You did not see and hear half the crap I heard, Georgia started out swinging and playing dirty, UF just followed suit.

You know a program is the best in the country when shit like this gets magnified. Hilarious. I'm sure Stoops, Saban, Brown, etc. would have been way more strict on their players for such an incident.
