Why all the hate on FSU?

Didn't see any last year when they were rolling. Just curious, I like FSU. Jimbo Fisher seems like one of the nicest and level headed coaches I have seen. Winston and a few others have been getting in to some trouble but the way the media blows it up, seems like they want the name negatively thought about.

You're truly stupid if you believe that FSU is going down in the rankings because they are "jealous". 

You seem to be a pretty big FSU homer (which is fine because we are all defensive of our teams), but I think you can admit that they haven't put together a dominant performance this year. With that said, I think they should be in the top 4, and honestly the seeding doesn't really matter AT ALL if you are #1 or #4 if the two teams are Alabama and FSU.  It's just the jersey color. 

Wouldn't you rather be #4 and play Alabama in the Superdome?  Or, would you prefer to be #3 where you've been the last few weeks and play all the way in the Rose Bowl?  I would rather play in Louisiana because I think you will have more FSU fans there than if you played in California.  I also think that you have a better chance of beating Alabama than Oregon.  Just my .02.

I guess my point is that FSU dropping isn't because of jealousy.  I would like to think it's because of two reasons I don't agree with:

1.  FSU isn't as good as last year.  who gives a f***?  It's a new season.  But, to be fair, if that's the case, then the fact they went undefeated last year shouldn't be brought up either.  This season has nothing to do with last season.

2.  People are SICK and TIRED of FSU's moronic (off the field) QB.  ANY PERSON who has been ACCUSED of sexual assault that would stand up in a student union and say what he did can be described no other way than an absolute MORON.  But let's call it like it is...between the lines, the kid is a WINNER, and no one nor his actions can take that away from him.  One question I would like to ask you is this:  Are FSU fans tired of him because of his antics?  I think any college fan would love for their team to win 25-30 games in a row but at some point, I would get tired of the negativity the kid brings because he lacks common sense off the field.  What's your take on that?

Good luck the rest of the year.  Hope they win this weekend, and regardless of where they are seeded, they will have a chance to prove most people (including myself) that they are/were the best team this year.  I personally think they are #3.  We shall see if they can get past GT this weekend.

I am actually am curious about all the love for FSU. They are ranked #4? Really? That is nuts. I think somewhere between 8 - 10 is more like it.

So I actually look at #4 as showing love to them as opposed to hate.

Can you name any quarterback that did so many stupid things, and still managed to stay on the team? Even when he was suspended, he still.........................somehow..................dressed in full pads.

Cam Newton. Johnny Football. Ryan Leaf. ANYBODY doing anything as stupid as this guy? 

Even on the field. How does a "great" quarterback throw three picks in the first quarter to a crap Florida team?

I personally want to see them play Oregon, Baylor or TCU out of curiosity

I don't think they are the best team this year like I thought they were last year but I wouldn't be shocked if they won it again

I would be absolutely shocked if they won it again... they are struggling on a weekly basis to beat teams outside of the top 20... they won't beat Baylor, Bama or Oregon... they have an OUTSIDE shot of beating TCU, but it's very unlikely... 

They are about the 9th or 10th best team in CFB this year...

There does seem to be some "hate"... but from my point of view, it is just a simple matter of who they are as a football team... nothing special!  But much like Marshall until they lost last week, they have benefitted from a soft schedule, and it leads many to believe they are "clutch" and "don't know how to lose"...

That is nonsensical BS... they are people like everyone else, and when they face a real football team, they will lose!

I respect your opinion, but I would be beyond shocked if they even won a playoff game, never mind two of them.

At some point, we have to use logic and ask ourselves:

Is FSU still undefeated because they just "don't know how to lose, or, "just know how to win."

Or is FSU still undefeated because they play in the weakest power 5 conference, where they benefit from playing really bad opponents that allow them to come back from DD deficits?

Enough of this bullsh*t "they just know how to win." No. It's simply benefiting from playing poor competition who can't hold leads because they're simply not very good.

I think another thing people aren't realizing is that this new Bama D-line is more fit to take care of mobile QB's. Not only that, but Winston hasn't really been all that "mobile" this season, especially with the injury.

To tell you the truth, I think FSU fans are so p*ssed about being slotted at #4 because that would most likely mean facing Bama in the first game.

By the way, none of that was directed to you WahooS, just the first part.

As much as there is an abundance of hate for FSU, this entire committee has an agenda and it comes down to nothing more than MONEY.  

Bama vs FSU is the match up that would spark the most interest and would be an enormous payday.  They want to keep the 4 teams as close to the Bowl they will be attending as possible.  

If this was the way it should be (FSU, Oregon, Bama, TCU or Baylor), you would end up with mediocre ratings for both games.  

I'm okay with FSU facing Bama because I do not want any excuses.  If FSU does not face both Bama and Oregon, there will be excuses out the as.shole about "if" blah blah blah.  Also, FSU seems to match up better with Bama and Blake Sims is horrible.  Talk about a team with one trick! (Cooper anyone?)

Bama and FSU will kill each other, which will make it an easier game for the winner of the Rose Bowl.

Thank you for the input! I don't know wtf is going on with Winston anymore but I saw the commits for next year and they look great! So hopefully the new dudes bring a new image. I agree with everything haha.

Floridas defense is the best he's ever seen in his life, it's the offense that's crap for Florida. The defense is very good, as always.Florida choked the game away in one play after Winstons 3rd interception of the first quarter.

it'll get settled on the field.  when (if) the Seminoles lose, you can all chime in with "I told you so."

Til them, they're the only undefeated team.  End of story.

Like I said, I don't think they are the best team & don't think they'll win but I've seen much bigger upsets in college football than fsu beating Bama or Oregon, it's certainly not out of the question that they can beat someone in the playoffs

If they play Baylor or TCU then I'd be betting against fsu, I know that for sure, I personally think both of those offenses would score alot on that defense but I'd like to see the matchups just to know if I was right.. I'm crazy like that.. Haha

Gtech is a one dimensional sh-it show, if fsu beats them then who will be surprised? That is junk football at it's finest

Bama would beat gtech by 126 points resting starters in the 4th

Just get fsu into the playoffs like they need to be & lets see them beat a real team, not notre dame or bc down to the wire

If they felt disrespected they would have been spanking teams weeks ago when they lost the number 1 spot, then the number 2 spot, then the number 3 spot, etc

I'm not an FSU fan, I'm a bettor. I don't care about them beating a "real" team or what Bama would do to G-Tech.
I like the set-up, match-up, and small line.
I think FSU hammers them. That's how I see it. Could be wrong. It's gambling but it's a game I really like. We'll see.
