I think the average better is not as smart as Cover's members and that they will bet the more-well-known Big Ten team and that it will open at Oregon -3 and float to -1 or PK. Too many Godfather types out there. I will be on Oregon, regardless of the line.
Completely and utterly just plain disagree, if you don't mind. You think Ohio State will be the public play? Um, let's walk through the public check list....
1. Ohio State - Lost to USC & Purdue 2. Oregon - Demolished USC and beat Purdue 3. Ohio State - Lost to Florida (bad), LSU (bad), Texas in bowl game memories. 4. Oregon - Beat Okie State nicely in last bowl game. 4. Oregon - Pac-10 Champion against the likes of USC, Stanford, Oregon State, Arizona, California. 5. Ohio State - Big 10 Champion against weaker teams (my opinion of public perception - last year bowl season only talked about the pathetic showing of the Big 10).
There is not a chance the line moves in Ohio States direction unless the line is double digits OR 2 hours before game-time.

You are 100% correct my friend. People HATE the Big 10 and I'm pretty positive 80% of the bets will be on Oregon.

On paper OSU should be favored, any good capper would be able to figure that out. They might not be because of the public plumber's perception. This is why suckers lose and smart bettors find value. I don't know that Oregon will even beat OReg St, as the beavers are just as good. But if you have watched Oregon, and I'm sure some of you haven't , the Ducks will have 2 big problems, 1. They will not be at home, and 2, OSU will absolutely pound the ball down the throats of the small front 7.

I was thinking Oregon -7. They are very solid. Pryor is just terrible, Iowa should have beaten them at their place with their inexperienced 2nd string QB, playing for the 2nd time, only a half against Nwstern, if not for a dropped pass in the EZ, and a missed FG. I like Oregon to cover the 7 too...

Last year. OSU has no speed, they are terrible. Texas rolls (OSU cover)
This year....USC will kill them, it won't even be close (OSU cover)
Oregon will roll them (OSU cover)
Please name a defensive front four in the PAC-10 better then OSU's front 4. Name one. OSU will dominate both lines of scrimmage. Dominate. OSU's defensive will have weeks to prepare for Oregon's offense. Even OSU will score consistently against Oregon's shit defense.
Oregon will be

Mr. Insight...you need to relax. I can't have you telling people the truth for two months, you are going to ruin it. I am looking forward to an extra field goal alone from the Oregon backers.

east coast media is already writing the "ohiost.'s last game was 11 days earlier than Oregon's and it took them nearly 2 quarters to 'get rid of the rust'" stories....
