Will update later but I know off hand I had a +10.2 unit weekend total.
I post both NCAA and NFL picks on my weekly post because of the fact that I mainly post my plays for tracking purposes of my own. Tail at ur own risk. I should have more time from here on out to post early leans to spark conversation with the estimated 4 people that actually come in here (lol).
Tonight's play (my books week starts on Mondays)...
Texans -7.5 (got early last week)
The Texans are stout in almost every aspect of the game opposed to the Jets who are the total opposite. I truly don't understand why this line came out this low. Maybe it's a sucker bet, maybe not. I feel with the DB situation, QB situation, and WR situation, the Jets just won't be able to hang here unless by some miracle the defense has their best showing and top scoring night of the year. I am not gonna lay money on a miracle. I do feel that Sanchez is one of those QBs (like Romo) that doesn't get the respect he deserves but at the same time he is nowhere near the caliber of QB that will "carry" a team to victory. RB situation for the Jets? Well, they're underperforming as well, and against this defensive front, it could be very ugly trying to run. I'd really like some feedback on this game from someone who has a good feel for this game because on paper (not in any means a good way to cap...I know that!), this Texans team will crush the Jets. However, like I said, I'm not gonna lay money on a miracle. BOL and feedback very welcomed especially on college picks which is where I thrive more. Love college discussions. Latahz!

Still looking into that Kent play Ro. I've won on Kent couple times this year, and I know their D is one of the best in the MAC, but playing against the option is tricky no matter how crappy the team is that's running it. I think Kent will succeed against the option and Hawaii will fail this week. Most likely will ride that one with u.

I doubt he will bench him at all. According to all their "call the coach" shows and interviews, he is the only back that grasps the offense, the philosophy, and supposedly the only one that can "put the ball where it belongs." I see where they are coming from though. Most of the bad play is due to one thing: bad OLine play. This OLine, from the two games that I watched, has to be one of if not the worst in the Nation. U can't run this O with no line. Disruptions mess up everything. Ive even seen a couple of plays that they couldn't even perform play actions because the DT would be in the backfield about the same time as the fake. Can't bootleg with success because hes too slow! It's a mess. As for preparing for the option: they're doing it but when u face the option it's man on man. With the current injuries to their D, I can't see how they will be able to matchup. I know it's New Mexico but it don't matter. Utah State does a option type scheme in some of their drives, how did that work out? BYU same also with some of the plays they ran. Bad tackling and inexperience in defending this offense will not be a good thing for these guys. I probably won't play the game unless I am up a lot by that time just for action. If I was to pick a side, I would go with New Mexico or no bet at all.

IMO, like any other rebuild project, it'll take a few years especially with the caliber of players that were recruited in the last regime. Chow, by the way, is doing good recruiting this year...let's just hope his eyes are as good as people say it is when looking at talent.

I think it's at -3 only because it's a game that's not on anyone's radar so not getting much play which means no movement. New Mexico isn't a team that you'll see laying double digits. If they ever did I guarantee people would be all over Hawaii at that value. Aloha Stadium is or I should say WAS a very difficult place to play IN THE PAST. Attendance is down and the people who are there most likely did not circle the New Mexico game as a must see. Crowd won't be a factor here.

Kahuna, Think New Mexico -3 has some value. They are definately in a rebuilding stage this entire year. Hate to say it but Hawaii aint the run and shoot type back with mullen, bess, and rivers! They used to compete for bowl bids and now are underdogs to New Mexico?? can see both teams not really doing much with a ball and could turn into a "shit show" Hawaii played Lamar and thats about it!! other then that those guys showed real bad on every game i seen. braddahs need to learn how to tackle, can see this option doing damage with the depth on defense also! The better call i think though is the "Under 53.5" with New mexicos option attack.. All Norm gotta do is prepare the boys for the option.. i do see them getting some punts off another rebuilding Lobo team. I see this game being a low scoring game and da Lobos holding off the warriors 28-17
Under 53.5 is da call for 2units! BOL
