Virginia getting blown out never surprises me. In my first game as an undergraduate, we lost 48-0 to Clemson at home. William Perry ran down our QB from behind, with his gut hanging out and practically dragging on the ground, twice; Danny Ford ran a double-reverse pass for a TD, already up 41; it rained.
I've seen us lose on the last play of the game at Michigan and Texas, saw us blow a 24-7 lead when we were #1 in the country, a 17-0 and a 20-0 lead in the Sugar Bowl, and a 27-0 lead at home.
I'm immune to pain. Bring on the Frogs.

Nice. Good luck to him. Getting in is the hard part. Getting out is easy.
I will be in BR on 11/2 and 3. Didn't want to come, but a friend of mine had never been and wanted to attend. Looks like Bama wins for fun at this point.

Hah. A few guys on here have actually met me, and it's a huge let-down. But, thanks for the kind words just the same.
I think UVa really used to be one of those places where people came out a little "different." It was good for me. There are a bunch of folks I know who are just "so UVa," and I love them. There are a bunch of folks I know who are just "so UVa," and I can't stand them. When I went to Blacksburg the first time, there was a huge banner hanging out of Lane Stadium that said "Preppy people Go Home!" I still smile thinking about it.
Still wiating on my damn 1-AA line. They've lined damn near everything except it.

Wow -- great stuff. Your comments bring back lots of memories for me.
I went to an Ole Miss/Tulane game in the dome once. Ole Miss didn't bring its band, so my girlfriend went and stole a trombone from the Tulane band and played for an audience of about 3,000. I've also got stories about William Perry, Clemson/UVA games, law school classmates who were "so UVA", and old guys in Pittsburgh referring to Miss. St. as "Ole Miss" and even "Ole Mist", but I won't bore people with them in your thread.
Good luck this week.

Pitt games are great. It's entirely possible to hear phrases like, "Alabama? Are they any good this year?" and "Tennesee's really never been much of a football school" during just one trip to the men's room. I think fully half of them think the Panthers still play Carnegie Tech on Thanksgiving.

Thanks, Double. Glad to see you didn't hang yourself at the UB game last night. I was seriously considering it until I got distracted by an episode of Family Guy I'd never seen before. I may owe Seth McFarland my life.
Delaware is now +3 - a little 6-point line move in four hours. I'd like to think I'm repsonsible for at least some of that.
